Cle Elum, Washington
Experience a relaxing setting in a large A-Frame custom home overlooking Mount Stuart and the Enchantments to the North, the Cascades to the West and Peoh Point to the South. Watch deer along the front grass and hummingbirds as you prep your lunch in the kitchen straight from our large orchard and garden. In the late spring and summer months, we have 15 different varieties of pear and apple trees. There are various grape vines that line the perimeter.
You enter the home into the sun porch and mudroom where you can hang your jackets and kindly remove your shoes. There is two sitting area's in the front room separate from the main home. A cozy cocktail or coffee corner for a quiet escape.
The main floor consist of a bunkbed room with twin beds and play area for kids. There is a full bath and a guest suite with a queen bed.
The master bedroom is located on the 3rd floor. Lay in bed and watch shooting stars from all corners of the room. Wake up to 180 degree mountain top views, if you don’t rise with the sun, you’ll want an eye mask because there are no curtains. There is also a loft play/ sitting/ reading area.
A wrap around porch offers a BBQ and sitting area.
The basement is currently unfinished but has a queen bed, bathroom, washer dryer, and game room. there is a foosball, ping pong table, tv,darts, desk with high speed internet to work at and swing.

I really don’t like to write unpleasant reviews, but in this case I feel like I need to. We arrived to a full dishwasher of clean dishes that needed to be put away, and there were kids’ underwear on the floor upstairs. Those things by themselves aren’t that big of a deal, but combined with our other experiences with the house, it quickly became frustrating. In the description of the house they stated there were 2 stand up paddle boards to use. When we couldn’t locate the second one we asked where it might be, and the owner stated one had popped so there was only one. The garden/ orchard is not really as described- there are fruit and nut trees, but nothing else really in the “garden”. It was mostly weeds. I did see grapevines but there was nothing on them- perhaps they’ve all been harvested? The only fruit we actually saw were cherries. I think the statement that you can “make lunch using the produce from the garden” is very misleading. In the listing this house is said to have air conditioning, and while technically true, it absolutely could not keep up. The house was about 80-85 degrees with the AC running continuously. It was about 95-98 degrees outside while we were there. There are no window coverings, which I’m sure is great for the owners, but the sun comes up at 5:30 am and the sun is very bright and hot shining in the bedroom windows. The TV is in the unfinished basement with concrete floor and a single couch in front of it. Again, probably great for the owners, but not good for renters. We aren’t huge TV watchers, but I reserve my “movie watching” for vacations and that was a disappointing set up. It also isn’t advertised that they do not have garbage service so you have to deal with the garbage yourself. This should absolutely be disclosed in the listing for the house. The description was embellished and it felt very misleading. The views, however, are beautiful. We were disappointed and decided to leave this place a day early simply because it was not as advertised and was extremely hot. As someone who has owned rental property, sometimes you have to alter what you, as an owner, enjoy for the purpose of renting (if you intend to receive positive reviews). This place has a lot of potential, and it’s a nice property. However, I believe the price and description should be adjusted to reflect what it really is.
This was the perfect getaway for an anniversary. Thank you so much - it lived up to everything offered and more.
We had a wonderful time taking in the views, going for hikes, soaking in the hot tub, playing games, swimming in rivers, and relaxing at this beautiful home. The hosts have given a lot of attention to make sure everything is luxurious and convenient. Would love to return in winter! One thing to note if you’re traveling from afar as we are is that the house doesn’t have trash service so you have to pack out your trash. A beautiful, peaceful home- would highly recommend!
The neighborhood and property is beautiful. The views are spectacular; we spent most of our stay sitting on the porch just taking in the scenery. The beds were comfortable, everything was as described.
From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we were in AWE of the pure beauty of this property. Then, when you walk in, your blown away by that amazing view!! We LOVED absolutely everything about this property and cabin. The photos dont do it justice! The owner was very responsive and wonderful to communicate with. The place was spotless.. The hot tub and sauna were an amazing way to relax at night.. We cannot wait to return.. in the winter!! Thank you, for a wonderful, relaxing weekend away.
Property in a great location away from city And yet close to store if you need anything. View is great. The best thing is that their is no TV. Meaning you will have all the time to spend with your spouse, kids, friends and family. During our stay we had on top of the 2’ of snow we had 2’ 1/2’ feet of new snow, that was a blast! :) The respond from property owner was fast. I recommend this property for others to come at least few family’s and enjoy the peace and quiet and away from technology.
Modern and cozy. Balance of mountain play and remote Work from home ability. We enjoyed a mini getaway to have closer access to the trails we love. The house has everything you need even a great working kitchen. Wi fi and connection when you needed it; conference calls and zoom etc. Lots of baking and cooking wholefoods with fresh picked fruit in the mornings from the garden. Such a treat to get to share this little piece of heaven on earth. It was so hard to leave and we will for sure be having cabin withdrawal today! Thank you for opening your beautiful, family friendly and pup friendly home for others to enjoy its beauty! We can’t wait to enjoy it again in winter!
We loved bringing our family here. Beds were super comfortable and loved the big table for our family meals. Wish we would have been able to use the barbecue and the deck, so that was a slight disappointment, but we loved walking the trails and walking through the lovely little fruit orchard. Even though the basement is unfinished (and we would never sleep down there) we really had fun playing ping pong and fooseball :)
This property is gorgeous! Just 10 minutes outside of town but you feel out away from everything! The common area is spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked. The master is beautiful, the two downstairs bedrooms are nice as well, and the basement is unfinished (as noted by the host) but comfortable. We would love to stay again, an absolutely perfect place for our girls weekend! Would be incredibly cozy in the winter as well.
We had a wonderful stay in Enchantment Hill! The house was secluded with breathtaking views all around. Every night we were treated to unique colorful sunsets and enjoyed playing ping-pong and darts. The location makes it very easy to get food from Cle Elum or Roslyn as well as take day trips into the surrounding wilderness. Thanks for a memorable stay!
