Enchanting mountainside home with fireplace, skiing, lake view, & washer/dryer

The view was gorgeous. Dirt roads though. Accommodations are nice. Not fancy but nice. Cute decor. Make sure you want to go up and down stairs! This is a mountain home.

The place has a fantastic view from the deck. All of the rooms and beds were big enough for adults. The kitchen was stocked well. I would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this Durango Mountain retreat. The drive is what you'd expect on unpaved mountain road, so don't be discouraged. When you finally pull up to the house and go inside you will be delighted. It is just a short distance into town and to the narrow gauge railroad. Sitting on the deck overlooking the valley is wonderful in the mornings and evenings. I love listening to the turkeys on the next ridge gobbling. The mule deer are common. The interior is modern and magnificent. There is nothing about this stay we did not love. Thank you.

Our family of 6 adults, (all in our 70s) enjoyed our stay. There are stairs inside to 3 bedrooms with a bedroom on the main floor. Having a bathroom on each floor by bedrooms was a PLUS!! The kitchen had all we needed and well stocked. We all especially enjoyed the decks with the amazing views.

The views are beautiful from this house. It was clean and well maintained.

It was a very clean house and located in a peaceful, quiet area. .

The property location and view is fantastic. The upgrades to the upstairs area is mostly good with two major issues. Very private with fantastic views and very private property and great grounds. The house was well equipped and very clean. However, I had several issues. 1. The internet did not work at all the entire 5 nights. And the tvs are all internet only so no internet meant no tv channels. 2. The trash outside was full on arrival and was never picked up any of the 5 days there. 3. The description says central AC. This is not accurate. The house only has a split unit AC for the living / open kitchen area. No AC for any rooms including the master where it can get very hot. 4. Major issue with the main floor bathroom where the glass in the shower just fell out when the bottom wall connector failed. This could have seriously injuries someone as the glass is very heavy. 5. The down stairs which includes two of the bedrooms as not been redone and the bathroom for that area is very small Otherwise nice house. Great deck and well equipped.

The house was spotless when we arrived. The beds were all comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes with which to cook and the bathrooms were clean and so nice. The only 4 star I gave was because I wish there could’ve been a little more seating in the living area. Great house, great location and helpful staff!

The house was beautiful and clean! The view was great. Make sure your group can climb stairs and has a vehicle that can drive in the mountains! Loved every minute of our trip.
