We had celebrated for our Friendsgiving. Plenty of space. Had 6 couples stay some with kids. Downstairs is split into a back half with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms connected to each. The Front half had a living room and 2 bedrooms with a separated bathroom to share. There is a mini bonus room/closet space that is big enough for the kids to treat as a fort area. What separates the front half and back half of the house is a staircase that brings you up and down back to the other half or you can continue up the stairs to the kitchen/dinning area and another living area. The master bedroom is also up there.
Fire & Ice was a great location for my women's retreat. We all had ample room for gathering together and enough space for our solitary time. The photos and descriptions from the website don't do the property justice. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cookware and spices. The beds had remote controls to adjust their positions. The master bathroom had a deep soaking tub and separate steam shower that gave me my own private steam room! We enjoyed using the fire pit to roast marshmallows. The jacuzzi / hot tub was super large, but we didn't use it. There were ample towels for our 5-night stay. They even provided miniature toiletries and hair dryers. The neighborhood in the Northstar Village resort was peaceful and safe!
This house was great for a big group, especially for couples as most bedrooms have an en suite bathroom. Nice open kitchen and living room for gathering and the outdoor space is great. The only issues were that the hot tub was not clean and the remote for the fireplace did not work properly.
We loved this house for our annual family get together! The house comfortably accommodated 3 different families, including adult children. Of all of the houses we have rented this one had the best equipped kitchen with all of the tools and dishes we needed. There is a great patio behind the house with a firepit, barbecue, hot tub and dining area. The bedrooms each came with a large TV. Awesome location close to pizza and roller skating in Northstar village, gondola to the Ritz for drinks and hiking, shopping in Truckee and Friday night concerts on Kings Beach.
This place is perfect for Northstar. We are in awe at how quick and amazing shuttle service and how close it was. The place was beyond beautiful, it had everything stocked. kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, spices), bathroom (towels and toiletries), bedrooms (blankets), living room (smart TV and some board games), two washer and dryer. Parking for 5 cars. Don’t expect any communication from the property managers. Also Kitchen electrical did not work while we were there.
House was great but when we had several issues our communication was ignored
