Stayed in this lovely house for about 7 days. Everything was perfect!
This house was amazing, I had never used Vacasa before so I was a little nervous when they were verifying my identity, I thought I knew it was “too good to be true”. It wasn’t. Everything worked out great, communication, house, location. Neighborhood was great, had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend!
Cozy clean and calming. Everything was as stated. Good communication. Location was close to most places.
We had a great stay and property was very nice!
This is one of the best stocked VRBO’s we have stayed in as far as things like laundry soap, dish soap, spices, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, trash bags, etc. It is very roomy and the beds provided plenty of space. Nice bathrooms. There were only 2 drawbacks: 1) bedroom windows with very sheer/light colored curtains—hard to sleep in summer when sun barely goes down—we remedied this by finding extra curtains stored in the closets and putting these up to block out the light; 2) many of the windows are fixed/painted/nailed shut and on warm days it was very difficult to get any cross flow of air—bedroom window downstairs opens but there is no screen so you risk letting mosquitos in—2 bedrooms have ceiling fans, but living room and 1 bedroom do not—there are 2 stand fans in the house. Overall a great place to stay once we got windows blocked out better for nighttime, but we struggled a little with being hot due to lack of airflow.
You would be crazy not to stay here
Well stocked home. Clean and odor free. Quiet, safe location. All three beds were comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Only issue was the drain in the upstairs bathtub was clogged and tub filled up quickly when taking a shower. No issue with downstairs tub.
We were a family of 4 (wife, myself and 2 daughters). The house is easy enough to get to things as a home base for playing in Alaska and getting around town. We were doing mix of seeing family and enjoying some Alaskan experiences/sites. Our only issue was that because it's pet friendly there was dog hair on bed covers/blankets in all the rooms, so even though the sheets were cleaned there was dog hair in the beds which caused some rumbles for my girls! And slight dog odor in rooms that dissipated over the week we were there, but we had not considered that implication of a pet friendly VRBO property. Good amenities - beds, kitchen nice/clean, washer/dryer convenient, WiFi, etc.
House great but sewer gases were obnoxious someone needs to check sewer system
This place is 100% the best! The house is top notch, updated, spacious and SO comfortable. Location - Yes, minutes away from downtown. Price - A++. I can’t think of any negative marks! We will look for this place first every time we need a place to stay. 12 stars!
