This rental is located on the lower level of a home in an older neighborhood. It is small but adequate for one or two people. There are a few issues that should be addressed and it will be a very nice. 1) There isn't a toaster. At least I couldn't find one. 2) When you flush the toilet the sink in the bathroom makes a terrible noise. [not normal] 3) I couldn't get hot water at the bathroom sink. 4) The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs dusted - has cobwebs 5) There isn't a cover plate where the refrigerator plugs in. 6) There is a heater unit in the kitchen and the vanes are dirty/dusty. 7) The table lamp in the bedroom didn't work. I had to go looking for a light bulb. The location is nice, near Main Street and lots of places to eat.
I was happy with everything about my stay. I happened to meet Shelly, the owner, and she was delightful. I absolutely would stay here again and in fact, I intend to! The place was very conveniently located and there were many small things about the place that felt like above and beyond service. Thanks, Shelly!
Perfect for Market visit
The host was lovely. Unfortunately the place was not. It didn’t look the way it looked in the pictures, much smaller. There were no drawers really for our things. There seem to be other peoples clothes in the dresser. The closet was full of stuff and the host left us what look to be a rack from a store to hang her clothes on. We had to ask for additional hangers as there were none to begin with. There was no icemaker or ice trays in the freezer. The host did bring us a giant bag of ice from the grocery store for us to use after we asked for ice trays. The whole basement ( where we were located) had a sewage smell. When we arrived at the place was very heavily scented with Febreze or some thing. Although the hostess seems surprised when we told her about the sewage smell, it was hard for me to believe her since the place of been so heavily fabreezed that it was clear it was covering up some thing. There were bugs. She told us she had an exterminator, but there was one of my coffee cup. It was just too much. We ended up moving out early. To the owners credit she refunded us with no protest.
