Our family has been coming to Sandestin for 30 years. Some years 2-3 times, so we have stayed in a lot of different homes. This unit was by far the most well kept, and up to date unit we have ever stayed in. It was clean, and extremely comfortable. All the furniture and beds were fantastic. We will be booking this one again.

Our family enjoyed every bit of the property and resort area. We will return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booking was fine. Reserved this back in May, but about 6 days before the stay we all came down with Covid. I was first and the worst. As I got better had to take care of family members. I called Gibson Rentals and asked if we could cancel. Holidays were an issue with commuication. Office closed so I emailed. They did call me back then. They said due to being after the cancel date they could not cancel and give me a refund. They said we might be able to move the stay to later in the year, but we didn't know when we could all get together again and we having to make all these decisions at last minute while still being weak from covid. After not being given much choice and possibly losing $1900, we decided to move all our flights and go a day late despite we were all still trying to recoupe. It wasn't a very pleasant trip. Everyone just sort of stayed in bed resting. A couple of us went out a little. I didn't think they'd want us in the unit because they would have cleaning crew etc coming in and might get them sick...I don't know how long that lingers. When we arrived the unit was supposed to run on Alexa..Alexa didn't work, the oven glass and front of dishwasher didn't look like they had been cleaned or has liquids running down the front of them. The shower in the middle bathroom upstairs was missing a part, so did not work. A light was out in the valance of the mirror in master bath. The battery was dead in the thermostat upstairs so all those sleeping upstairs froze the first night...was pretty cold in Miramar Beach during our stay. And there were no directions for the gulf cart. I tried to go get some groceries on the cart. We couldn't get it to start, finally figured out you have to have the seatbelts on or it won't start. Golf cart has issues too. HAd quite a few issues, eventually sent people out to fix them. Shower fixed last day. I know its difficult to get workers. Its a beautiful home and price was good for Christmas. They refunded a little for our troubles

The house and location were excellent! No problems to report. My only comment might be post Covid protocol, but there was absolutely no staples for cooking at the house. No salt or pepper or any spice. No coffee filters or plastic bags/tin foil etc. only one pack of dishwasher detergent for a week. No extra of ANYTHING that would help with using the house for cooking to try to save money.

Reviewer Comments: A great time & wonderful vacation experience!The house was beautiful & clean, the location was fantastic, and the 6-seat golf cart added another fun experience to head over to the beach and to Baytowne Village in the evenings for dinner. Very easy check-in process & the folks @ Gibson were readily available to answer a few questions that we had. Highly recommend staying here!
