Elwha Place Cozy Woodsy Retreat Near Elwha Beach

Loved the house! Had everything we needed. Close to everything in on the North side of Olympic. It was in a very quiet area which we like.

We had a wonderful time. House was great and very comfortable and clean. Very accommodating. Check-in and check out was seamless. Could use a few more china/dishes.

The property is in excellent, like-new condition. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and it was very easy for us to make and enjoy our meals there. Both bedrooms were very comfortable.

First, this is one of the nicest houses I've ever been in. The pictures were accurate but don't covey just how modern and high-end this home really is. This feeling was aided by the fact that it was spotless on arrival. This is a perfect location to explore Olympic National Park, only a short drive from major hikes and Port Angeles. The home was a quiet, peaceful reprieve from the city and crowds in the park. We barely ate out because of the excellent kitchen and we appreciated the laundry room and huge showers after a long day of park adventures. Finally, communication was above and beyond expectations. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

House is in great condition, new and well maintained. Kitchen is well equipped and provides all the dishes and cookware needed. WiFi reception is excellent. Location is good, a few miles out of port Angeles where there is a decent selection of restaurants and shops. We used the house for a hiking base in the Olympic National park. Car is a must. Definitely a good option for a few days stay in this lovely area.

This is a great vacatoon retreat. The house is guite new. Everything works, excellent decor, very clean, all needed items provided.

I cannot say enough about this place, it was an absolute dream from the moment we opened the door. Beautifully designed, high end finishes, floors, cabinets, wood shelves, etc etc. Gorgeous bathrooms and kitchen. Nice comfortable couch, beds, bar stools and other furniture. So very clean and well cared for. It was pristine and luxurious, fit for a king and queen! Quiet and tranquil. A sweet doe grazes outside the side window of the primary bedroom window some mornings. The management co staff was so very helpful, responsive, polite and kind.Suggested hike: park at Madison falls trailhead. That hike was nice. But, in addition, if you head down the closed road and follow a small dirt trail on the right it will take you along the Elwha River. Very pretty and peaceful.My husband and I stayed 5 nights and we highly recommended this property!

This was a gem. We had ready access to the National Park and Port Angeles but a secluded place away from town. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully functional. Would definitely come back next time in the area.

This house was perfect. Lots of space, newly updated, plenty of amenities. It was the perfect stop for our Port Angeles stop. Highly recommend.

We loved this property and had a wonderful time on the Olympic Peninsula with it as our jumping off point. It had a lot of great features (walk-in showers, laundry, well stocked kitchen gear, etc.) and comfortable beds. Highly recommended for your stay with friends or family as you explore the area.

Having stayed at numerous vacation rentals it was so refreshing to find one so modern and purpose built for local adventure. The house itself is spacious with luxurious touches throughout such as high end appliances, huge showers and the best part was the concrete heated floor! We travel with our dogs and this design allowed them to travel with us with much less worry. The WIFI was excellent and we were able to stay connected with no issues. We stayed during a very cold weekend and the house was always warm and extremely well insulated. We were not able to use the covered patio due to the winter weather but it looked very inviting. The location itself is quite a bit outside of Port Angeles proper and also tucked into a heavily wooded area. This made trips to town a little less appealing and the house itself felt very secluded which could be a pro or con depending on your comfort level with unfamiliar places. The house has perimeter lighting all around so we were able to walk the dogs after dark no problem. Overall this is an outstanding property and we would book it again.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the quiet. The place was very clean. I think it's relatively new as there weren't a lot of lived in touches (drapes in the main room would be helpful). And a french press is good for those of us who like decaf (when everyone else likes caffeine) but these are minor things. Overall we will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and the location worked great for us since we were going to the mountain daily for biking. Quiet and set back off the road. Easy checkin and checkout.

Still so new and beautiful inside...Needs some wall hangings,larger area,clocks...and landscaping... landscaping

We had a great time at this property. We loved the well-equipped kitchen, the classy finishes and being so close to the Mouth of the Elwa River. We hope to be able to stay again!

Very clean and everything was thoughtful. Very spacious living space, bathrooms and bedrooms. Well equipped and stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. AC in every room that’s very quiet. The kitchen features made me want to update my own kitchen. It’s a quiet neighborhood (no views) with a seating area outside that’s clean. It was a comfortable stay and would recommend it.

Such a wonderful new house. We loved the field of daisies in the back yard. So many birds to watch, especially the Nighthawks mating at dusk.
