Dayton, Oregon
The Ellis house in Dayton, Oregon- an historic and charming town in the heart of the Willamette Valley Wine County. Located on a quiet street and just a few minutes walk to Dayton's delightful downtown square, shops, restaurants and the Suefert winery tasting room. A perfect getaway for singles, couples or friends!
This cozy 1912 bungalow is a one-of-a-kind charmer with two bedrooms, one bath and original features. Vaulted ceilings, jack and Jill bathroom with tub/shower combo, original brass hardware, and fir flooring. Enjoy the vintage authenticity of our furnishings and appointments. Fiestaware dishes with service for eight, coffee maker, and grandma's cast iron pans. Wine glasses a plenty! Queen sized and Double beds are appointed with 100% cotton sheets, down alternative hypoallergenic pillows and comforters. Sleeps four comfortably. We provide robes for use during your stay- so cuddly! The Ellis House was recently renovated with a new roof, electrical, heating, air conditioning, and kitchen appliances. Keep in mind that the house is over 100 years old and its "charm" includes squeaky and slanting floors, doors that stick, and original wavy glass windows that no longer open.
Honestly I don't know which was more wonderful...the view, the place or the property owner! If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay, look no further. You will love it here.

We came to The Willamette Valley for a concert and wine tasting. Booked The Ellis House and we were so happy. This adorable 1912 house’s remodel is striking.. Touches of modern and all of the old charm. It is so close to wineries, restaurants and the surrounding cities. We hope to sneak back in the winter to enjoy the fireplace..
Unexpectedly having to travel to the area to visit family, I found Ellis House while searching for hotels in the Dundee/Dayton area. The location of the house makes for easy access to surrounding towns and tiny downtown Dayton is literally around the corner. The house itself is clean, cozy and cute and had every amenity we needed. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with utensils and the heater kept the chill away. Bigger than a hotel room and much more charming. Owners were responsive and pleasant to work with during booking.
This house was great for a long weekend getaway to Willamette Valley. Located just minutes from amazing wineries and great food options, it has a ton of character and was very peaceful at night.
Loved the easy communication with owners, the keyless entry, the sunny yellow kitchen, the custom built in features, quiet location. The care in decorating, book selection and kitchen supplies was evident. So fun to ask Alexa to leave on the porch light for us.
