Designed by Montana Creative Architecture and adorned with finishes and furnishings selected by a professional interior design firm, this mountain modern, classically designed home boasts all the amenities of a five-star hotel. From fine furnishings to art and décor, high-end mattresses, and luxurious linens and towels, no detail has been overlooked.

Clad in Montana moss rock stone, corral board, and grey cedar siding, the exterior entry to this rustic modern ski-in, ski-out home is inviting and perfectly complements its Montana setting. Inside, a mudroom with three ski lockers for clothes and gear and two larger lockers for ski and board storage welcomes you. Heated floors in the mudroom warm cold feet after a day in the snow, and a wall-mounted boot dryer for eight pairs of gloves and boots keeps everyone ready for the next slope-side adventure. Adjacent to the ski locker area is a dual stackable laundry setup, streamlining everyday tasks so you can spend more time enjoying your Montana adventure.

Off the main entry hall, a stunning powder room features a wall-mounted toilet, a custom concrete floating sink, and a luxurious gunmetal wall-mounted sink faucet. The great room is framed with 8-foot windows and doors that provide panoramic views of Whitefish Lake and the surrounding mountains. With walls clad in Douglas fir and reclaimed European white pine flooring, the open-concept great room is an awe-inspiring gathering place. The fully equipped kitchen offers high-end appliances, including a 48” range with induction cooktop, dual 30” Fisher and Paykel refrigerator/freezers, a Miele dishwasher, and a Sharp microwave drawer. The spacious island, with leather and steel barstools, seats five. The living area beyond the kitchen features a tunnel gas fireplace that opens to the adjacent dining room. Furnishings were chosen for comfort and good conversational seating, including a pair of 90” wide down-filled boucle sofas and leather and steel lounge chairs with a leather ottoman. The bi-fold doors of the great room create an ideal indoor-outdoor living space with access to the exterior porch, furnished with an oversized sectional and lounge chairs around a natural gas fire table. Electric heaters in the ceiling extend the porch`s use into the colder months, and there is a built-in gas grill for outdoor dining.

Artfully designed bent metal stairs lead to the loft overlooking the great room. A bench with storage for bedding and a small coat closet are strategically nestled under the loft stairs. The loft, complete with steel and glass railings, offers stunning views of Whitefish Lake. Furnished with a daybed covered in indoor/outdoor velvet and a pull-out trundle, the loft is perfect for sleeping or relaxing with a book.

Adjacent to the great room is the dining area with seating for ten. The dining table, made of wood slab and steel, is surrounded by leather chairs and features a tunnel fireplace and gorgeous views. A wet bar with window seat swivel chairs and cocktail tables provides the perfect setting for conversational, cocktail hour seating.

On the main level, the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, a three-sided glass and steel fireplace, and a sofa at the end of the bed, perfect for morning coffee or evening reading. Large windows offer spectacular views of Whitefish Lake and the surrounding mountains. The master ensuite is a study in luxury, featuring unlacquered brass fixtures, a 66” wide soaking tub, heated floors, and a steam shower with dual shower heads and a long bench. A seated makeup area and generous master closet complete the space.

The lower level offers additional living and sleeping space, including a game room with a pool table, game table, and countertop with bar stools. A wet bar with an under-counter refrigerator, ice maker, and drawer dishwasher is also included. A boucle sectional sofa and leather swivel chair are arranged around a gas fireplace and 55” TV. A second covered porch features a luxurious hot tub, chaise lounge chairs, and ceiling-mounted electric heaters for extended use. A gas fire pit with Adirondack chairs offers a perfect spot for viewing sunsets over the lake, valley, and surrounding mountains.

Guest Suite 1 includes two queen steel canopy beds with velvet upholstered headboards and a private 50” television. A vestibule hallway with a dresser leads to an ensuite with a shower, double vanity, luxurious polished nickel modern bath fixtures, and a separate water closet. Heated floors provide added comfort during colder months. Guest Suite 2 offers a fully upholstered king-size bed, a dresser for clothes storage, a reading chair, and a private 50” television. The ensuite bathroom includes a shower, double vessel sinks, and luxurious modern matte black bath fixtures. The bunk room features two twin-over-twin rustic wood bunk beds with storage drawers, a desk area with seating, and a wardrobe. A full bathroom just outside the bunk room includes a separate washroom, trough sink, and tub/shower combination.

Enjoy year-round access to Whitefish Mountain Resort, with the Elk Highlands private community chairlift just steps from the home. Note that the ski lift operation is snow-dependent, starting a few weeks after the resort opens for the season and stopping a few weeks early. In the summer months, the mountain offers treetop rope courses, mountain biking, and alpine sled rides. Hike and explore Glacier National Park, just a 45-minute drive away, or check out the trails in your backyard, including the Holbrook Overlook trail and Danny On Trail. This home is stunning! Exactly the style and quality we were hoping for and it did not disappoint! Relaxing on the upper balcony next to the firepit was one of our favorite spots!! The added touches really make you feel the Montana luxury the name boast! Would love to return soon!

We enjoyed our trip in early February for ski season. The home is located about 100 feet from the elk highlands ski lift and you can take the highlands ski run straight into the house. The owner has great taste in design and home has an efficient floor plan. We used the bbq, jacuzzi, ping pong table and billiards table. Perfect temperature is 74 on thermostat. Bedrooms get warmer than common area. We will be back again next winter and may look to book this summer. 10 of 10 experience!

The property is beautiful located in the mountain, just 15 mins away from Whitefish. The house was in excellent condition. We traveled with 5 small kids and they loved walking around the property. We will definitely come back.

Our family gathered in Whitefish with high expectations and this home far exceeded our expectations! The home itself was gorgeous-modern and warm, tastefully decorated and equipped with luxury amenities and then some. Each room was exquisitely appointed with high-end furnishings and featured stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Whitefish Lake. Every inch of this home has been well thought out-from the luxurious bedding and light fixtures, to the beautiful double sinks in all the bathrooms; even the mud room/laundry room came equipped with two sets of washer/dryers and hiking backpacks and coolers for guests' use. We spent most nights enjoying the evening stars and spectacular views on the large rear porch, warmed by the fire table in the cool night air. This home easily accommodated our family of 10 and our 3 little ones loved exploring all the space this place had to offer. Jessica and Tyler were extremely helpful with information about Glacier National Park (a must see!), surrounding area activities and restaurants, and even recommendations for a private chef. This was our first trip to this part of Montana and Jessica's quick responses to all my questions was greatly appreciated. This was an incredibly memorable trip for my entire family and I truly cannot recommend this place enough!!

Without a doubt, this house is one of the most amazing from a location, design, newness, and furnishings perspective of any home we have stayed. We just came back from a 5 day, 8 person family reunion and to a person - clearly one the best vacations / places to stay in all of our travels. The home itself is stunning, place impeccably decorated and the mountain design look / feel is wonderful. Interior is unique and you can spend days looking at all the fine details. The owner, who I believe is the designer, killed it creating and building this house. We love to cook / barbecue and the place is set up perfectly to enjoy family cooking, eating inside or out and enjoying a few cocktails on the deck. Kitchen full service and quality. Views are amazing. Every room is impeccably furnished and comfortable. Game room is a blast. Enough said, awesome... This is not a marketing pitch (I don't do reviews, however, this place deserves one), it is simply a very unique and wonderful home. Candidly, surprised they rent it out :). Hosts are great and always available to help. Didn't need to call them for anything, place is so new and well built. Even when you check in, local coffee and treats await you. In summary, doesn't get any better. Thank you Jessica for a memorable Whitefish vacation... Michael, Jeanne and Family
