Wow what an elegant place to stay! The home is beautiful and comfortable. The views are magnificent! You feel like you’re in the clouds with panoramic views of many mountains… so well appointed. What a great value! It was like having our own 5 star Country Inn!

Great place for a group gathering. Plenty of room to spread out and spectacular views! Extra large dining room table and huge kitchen with plenty of counters to prepare meals. Xfinity cable was great for sports and we used the Netflix app to watch a movie (personal subscription.) The outside decks had plenty of seating and were a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Proximity to Stowe and Burlington was perfect, while Waterbury Center has many small shops, restaurants and a Shaw’s. We’ll be back for sure!

Our stay was 9/20-9/25/2024. This is a beautiful and comfortable home nestled in the trees and very private. It has plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms with king/queen beds to accommodate several couples or other adults that aren't interested in bunkbeds when traveling. We had 7 adults and an eleven-month-old and had plenty of room to stretch out and also be together. There isn't a pack n play or crib available so if you have a little one, you'll need to bring your own. The front door lock is a little tricky but once you figure it out it's fine. Vacasa was quick to respond to my texts when I had questions or issues. The property is on a dirt road which was fine for the most part. The day we checked out it rained pretty good, and the road did get very muddy and slick so keep that in mind when renting a vehicle for your trip. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and if we have another opportunity this is exactly where I'd stay!

We had an amazing experience at this property. It sits on a mountain with spectacular views over a beautiful valley, in particular at sunrise and sunset. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It's fairly new, in great condition, and clean. We would definitely rent the house again, but not through VRBO/Vacasa, as Vacasa was not there to assist us when we needed them most. Upon our arrival, we found an outside door unlocked. We called Vacasa seeking contact with the local manager (who never contacted us) and then, feeling unsafe, called 911. Two state troopers arrived and thoroughly searched the house, and they declared the house safe. That same evening, we kept calling and texting Vacasa for the house manager to come fix the lock that evening or send someone to do this. That evening we did not receive a call from a local manager, and, feeling unsafe, we checked into the local Best Western at around 10:30 pm. Only after we returned to the home the next morning and called Vacasa again, a local repair person arrived who fixed the lock on the door. It seems that there is no local manager for this particular house. Vacasa was missing in action at a time when it was their role to help us out. Vacasa did not respond to our complaint and request for damages by phone, email, and letter. Ultimately they paid, but it was a lengthy and painful process. We are definitely not going to rent through VRBO/Vacasa again. Having said that, we highly recommend the house!

The place was great, especially the view, and would recommend. While we did have some trouble initially, it is not worth complaining about. Just want to bring it up for future parties. We had some trouble getting into the house on arrival. I got on the phone to deal with the door not unlocking. The code was correct, and we kept trying. It eventually opened, so we think it was the automatic lock batteries. Vacasa made note and I think changed the batteries along with the sink faucet that also experienced a problem. We had to wait for someone to come, just to run water, but it was only the batteries there as well and someone did replace the next day. One other thing I would note. I called to ask where to put the garbage and recycling, there was no note advising us. They wanted us to keep the garbage and recycling in the kitchen. We were there for many days and that was unacceptable to us. I explained that we would not be living with trash bags around us in the kitchen. So, we found somewhere to put it outside that was protected. The garbage pails were full, I guess from the prior guests. We then brought the garbage and recycling back in as we were checking out. This is what Vacasa said to do but this procedure should be addressed going forward.

My family, and extended family, had an overall amazing stay at this home. The house itself is located close enough to the town and supermarket that you don't need to feel as though you can't run to the store or restaurants when you reach the house. Alternatively, it is located on a beautiful mountain with amazing sun rises and sunset views. Be forth warned that the last mile to the house is a dirt road. You will need a 4x4 to get up/down the mountain. As far as the house itself, it is both spacious and cosey. The kitchen is very functionable, if you are trying to cook family meals, or just prep some snacks before hitting the mountains. The hot tub is great, especially after a day of skiing, hiking, etc. Overall, we had a truly great experience, and would return to this home, should we decided to return to this area of vermont.

The place had amazing views and lots of different places to sit and hang out. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We loved having a big table for everyone to sit and have meals together or playing board games. People really enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. It was very well stocked with plenty of pots / pans and cooking sheets / pans and spacious enough for 6 people to cook! The amenities were great too! We loved the hot tub, fireplace and the TVs!

Coming out of Covid our family (ages 3-65) was so excited for any group vacation. We found Green Mountain Manor on a whim after a disastrous experience with Airbnb and were so grateful to find something so fast and beautiful. The pictures could never do the view justice, the hot tub was lovely and any minor issues we ran into were fixed right away! It was great to be just a short drive away from Stowe and the area is just stunning. Thanks to the guidebooks at the house we also found a lovely and easy(ish) hike to the highest peak in Vermont! Thank You!
