This home is located in the quiet Tolovana Beach neighborhood about half a mile from the beach, hemmed in by a serene old-growth forest. You'll be just a few minutes by car or foot from the white sands and majestic surf of the Pacific Ocean, where you can kite-surf in the waves, watch for whales, or enjoy a bowl of fresh chowder from Pelican Brewing in town. Downtown Cannon Beach is just two miles to the north, and the winding trails and sweeping views of Ecola State Park lie just beyond.
Handsome hardwoods, elevated ceilings, and chic white paneling give this home a classic New England character. On sunny days, extensive west-facing windows fill the living room with natural light, and the giant deck provides beautiful glimpses of the ocean in the distance. The chef in the family will love fixing meals in the spacious gourmet kitchen, which is outfitted with sleek gas appliances, a wine cooler, and a large kitchen island with Carrara marble countertops.
When the weather turns cold and the Northwest drizzle starts to fall, curl up in front of the gas fireplace with a blanket and a good book, or head downstairs for a game of foosball or air basketball in the game room. If you'd prefer some privacy, the stunning master bedroom suite has its own deck and indoor sitting area, plus a private bathroom with a gas fireplace! Open a bottle of wine and sink into the tub for a truly luxurious experience.

Love the well appointed space, perfect for family and good location to Canon Beach.
An actual mattress in the smaller 2nd floor bedroom would be a huge improvement…the listing gives you the impression that bedroom would be a real bed…and Wi-Fi would be another huge improvement.
Great house. It was very clean and very comfortable. There’s no Wi-Fi though. That seems weird and really needs to be added to this location. Loved our stay though.
We enjoyed the space and comfortable amenities if this house. We did not originally see that there was no internet in the listing but it forced us to unplug a bit. Kids enjoyed the game room, board games, puzzles and DVDs available. The rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable and beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and views. Would happily stay again should we visit the area.
Of course the weather is not within anyone's control! We enjoyed the home even though the weather caused the electricity to go out (so make sure you know where the candles are and the flashlights). I would encourage the owners to get internet access - this is an issue for those of us who want to spend time with family and must check in with work! Our 15 month year old needed the steps to be blocked AND still enjoyed running around upstairs and on the ground floor. The kitchen could use a few more utensils - it has a great stove and oven and great cooks, attracted to this property, need utensils! The local grocery store saved us, and we wished that more establishments were open over the holidays. Planning outings to Cannon Beach made a difference too. If you enjoy short walks to the beach, this was a lovely location!
We tried a vacasa home for the second time. The first time in Sunriver this year, the house was filthy and a lot of things were broken. Now Cannon beach, we typically come to Cannon beach 3 times a year and stay. We love the community and the beach. I loved the listing of this home and the price looked reasonable so I snagged it. The listing is a bit misleading, there is no cable or WiFi… We quickly got over that because we definitely found other things to do and had a great time per usual. The house was clean, the master bedroom had quite a few rugs laying everywhere and underneath was pet stains, which was kind of gross. Other than that no complaints. Loved the steam shower in the master. Now back to vacasa. Everyone is just rude, maybe it’s me but every single person is like talking to a computer. My daughter left her baby blanket and iPad (yes a new iPad) and I called within 4 hours of check out when we got home and realized they’re both missing. We live in another state. I tried to call the local number, the lady made it seem like she didn’t know what vacasa was at first. Then she owned up to being a local person for them and told me she’d check on it and I haven’t heard a word. We know the items are in the home as we didn’t go anywhere else. I think the most upsetting part of this whole thing is that I’m just trying to get someone to locate my CHILDS belongings and she’s sitting here heartbroken her blanket is gone. I’ve called 4 times and the people just keep reciting the same thing to me. For such a LOCAL community this is so outsourced and corporate it’s not even funny. No more vacasa for us. Maybe we will get back our missing items or maybe not. Good thing iPads locate, I will be watching where it goes at it leaves that house.
My friends and I had a wonderful time staying in this home. The decor is lovely and there was plenty of space for five of us to do our arts and crafts projects and make meals together. The master suite was beyond luxurious and would be perfect for a romantic get-away.
Very nice, great view and comfortable. will return for another stay.
The house was perfect for getting away for the weekend. The place was clean and had lots of space to relax in. The master suite was amazing for myself and another to have a great romantic getaway. Also, the location is a walk away from a great grocery store and the beach. We enjoyed a nice 1+ mile walk up the beach to Pelican Brewery as well. Would rent again and would recommend.
3 levels of decks to view stunning sunsets. 2 minute drive to the beach, well-stocked kitchen with chef-worthy appliances. The master suite is its own retreat. Lovely home we hope to book again and again.
The tasteful decor and furnishings make you feel pampered the moment you walk in. If you are looking for a special place to relax in comfort and get away from the busyness of life, this is the place for you.
The house, appliances, and furnishings were top notch. Everything was clean. The kitchen is well appointed for basic meal preparation needs. We used our T-Mobile hot spots and had no trouble visiting web sites, receiving and sending email, and streaming video.
Our family loved staying here. Such a comfortable, beautiful house. We didn’t even mind when it was raining out because this house was so cozy and lovely to stay in. We can’t wait to go back.
