Tucked into the pines of Presidio in the Pines, this is the kind of home that does its job quietly. You walk in and it just feels right — warm knotty alder wood, granite counters, a three-way fireplace that fills both the living and dining rooms with the kind of light that makes everyone want to stay at the table a little longer.

The kitchen is built for people who actually cook, which means it's also built for the person who insists on making breakfast for the whole group on day two.

The master suite has a soaking tub and a separate shower. Whoever claims it first wins the morning, and nobody will blame them. Upstairs and down, there's room for ten to spread out without feeling like they're sharing a hotel corridor — four bedrooms, real space, the kind of layout that lets a group be together when they want to be and disappear when they don't.

Out back, the patio surprises people. Brick pavers, lush landscaping, a waterfall that's quieter than you expect and more calming than you'd think to ask for.

It's the kind of outdoor space where someone sits down with a drink at four in the afternoon and is still there when the stars come out.

Flagstaff takes care of the rest. Trails into Coconino National Forest, a night at Lowell Observatory, ski runs before the group is fully awake, long dinners in Historic Downtown.

The house sits close enough to all of it that nothing feels like a production — and just far enough into the pines that coming back always feels like returning to something worth returning to.

This is a really cute house with comfy bed and well thought-out decor. The kids’ play space under the stairs was a great amenity. It’s easy to get to from the interstate and not too far from downtown.
