Other things to note
This property is on the corner of a well-traveled street so there could be some noise from traffic mostly during the daytime hours.
Very Clean, exactly as advertised. After check in I returned to the house the house alarm was unarmed and flashing zone warnings. Having been staying there alone I was very uncomfortable that someone had been in the house. Owner never got back to me and when she did hours later was unhelpful said the alarm should work?? Despite efforts alarm was not working. Noisy location and shower wasn't draining so I was ankle deep in water while showering.
Pros: The internet was great for working from home, my husband and I took video calls with no problem. The location was convenient for going to Cuyahoga National Park. The kitchen was ideal and had necessary pots/pans for cooking. Cons: the tub especially was not up to the cleanliness standards I’ve come to expect from many vrbo stays. The listing mentions street noise, that is accurate. The backyard and patio is gorgeous but we didn’t enjoy it because of the noise. It wasn’t a problem for sleeping though.
Fence will fall on the driveway side. I stood it back up when I arrived and placed the brick pavers on either sides for more stability in the future. Ended up staying else where the bed was uncomfortable. Slept there one night out of 3. The street traffic is a bit loud but there wasn’t a box fan for noice control.
I’m local and needed a home with a fenced in yard for my dogs while my hardwoods were being refinished. Barbara’s place was exactly as described and the back yard was perfect for us!
The house was perfect for our visit. I thought it was a better option than a hotel. It was quiet, It was clean, there were numerous kitchen utensils. The backyard had a nice privacy fence around it and was a nice place to have a morning coffee while your little dog sniffs around. The owner allowed us early access so my daughter could stock the fridge before our arrival. I'd say the only drawback was there were no TV's set up in the bedrooms. Overall we had a pleasant stay with no hiccups.
