Earlewood Park is an awesome neighborhood in Columbia. With a large public park within a 2 minute walk of the house, you can enjoy a game of frisbee golf, tennis, softball or enjoy a scheduled concert or event at the amphitheater. There is also picnic areas and a dog park (members only). Also, lots of restaurants and coffee houses have popped up within the past few years along North Main Street and we are only a mile or two from most of the major entertainment districts in the downtown area.
According to Maps, this house is 2.1 from USC/Horseshoe, 7.0 miles from Ft. Jackson Visitors Center, 4.1 miles from Williams-Brice Stadium and 2.2 miles from the Columbia Metro Convention Center.
Car is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia. Uber and Lyft are great options and there is also a Comet public transportation bus line - refer to their website for stops and routes (http://catchthecometsc.gov/)

The house was great for our parents weekend with our USC student.
This was our second time staying at your home and both times were amazing! We definitely come back! Thank you
The neighborhood surrounding this property is rundown. The property itself needs work on the outside but the inside is nice. The neighbors dogs will promptly wake you up at sunlight and continue barking so that you cannot get a good nights sleep. Furthermore, the management company sucks and they are horrible people who lie. Upon checking into the house the door code worked the first time, and I was able to get some of my things unloaded from the car. The door then locked, and I was not able to access the home. I had to wait outside for 24 minutes for the company to respond. While I was waiting outside, I was constantly being bit by mosquitoes. I spoke with a woman named Reagan that was a representative for the management company. She was able to send a remote code to the door to unlock it but after that it stopped working. I had to wait two hours for the owner of the property to show up to fix the door. He did so by replacing the batteries which fixed the door. When I contacted the management company and asked for a credit for the inconvenience and loss of my two hours I was told that I do not deserve one because I was able to leave the property at any time. I explain to them that not having a resolution before leaving would not work for me, because I would be back in the middle of the night, and if the problem was not solved, and I had to collect my things or check into a new property or hotel it would’ve been further inconvenienced. Do not stay here!
Pretty much everything about this rental was excellent! It was indeed elegant: spotless & spacious, plenty of linens, my emailed question to the host was answered very quickly, and everything was in working order. The neighborhood is pretty & green, well-maintained, and quiet. I enjoyed a long walk one morning. My only suggestion would be to add a small patio with table, umbrellas, & seating for 6 or 8 in the little side-yard. Many family members were in town for a memorial service, and we would have welcomed some of them over for a casual meal -- outside is always nice for that sort of thing. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!
The home was extremely relaxing and very pretty. We've never been to SC, so we were excited to see what the SC homes are like and we loved the architecture and coziness of the home.
The property was as advertised and in a nice part of town. I would stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay very much. We appreciated how everything was so close. Loved the local popcorn and coffee that was left in the kitchen.
I loved the house and it’s quaintness. The neighborhood is adorable. I do wish there had been some Christmas decorations. There were a few minor issues for me and the biggest one was the heat. Regardless of what the thermostat said the house never got warm. I stayed in a sweater and socks all week. Only one glass which was fine since it was just me. I’m used to having some instructions or info books and there were none. Comfy couch thank goodness since there was only 1 small TV. Enjoyed my stay and all my quiet time. The Riverfront Park was great!!
Close to the sights of downtown Columbia, accessible to the freeway and yet peaceful enough to sit outside and swing on the porch. We had a lovely visit.
Property was perfect for dropping off a new U of SC student.
The property is exactly as described and in a very quiet and safe area of town. Easy access to downtown. The upstairs patio was very nice in the evenings.
The home was amazing! A very relaxing place to sit on the porch swing or the patio area outside of the second floor bedrooms. It was a delight along with the well organized conversations. A great place to stay!
Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Everything was just as the listing stated. Fit all our needs. If we ever return we’d love to stay here again.
