With 1600 square feet of space, this two-story home gives you and your family an impressive shared space. Built in the craftsman style with great attention to detail, the first walk-through brings you into the great room with an open kitchen, dining, and living room. A large balcony with water views and patio furniture invites you to al fresco dining when the weather calls for it! Located on the main floor is the well-appointed master bedroom with a gorgeous master bath.
A walk downstairs leads you to the second and third bedrooms and a second full bath. Each bathroom has heated travertine floors to warm your feet on chilly mornings.
Our internet is strong and steady throughout the home. There are two fold-out tables and chairs for a quick office set up for remote work or schooling.
Located on a private lane with no-thru traffic, this gem is child-safe and quiet. We do have neighbors that live there year-round and are very friendly. If you see them, say “hi!”! A 2-minute drive brings you to downtown Eastsound or an 8-minute walk. Our road is steep so bring good shoes and prepare for a climb back up!
The village of Eastsound is filled with quaint shops, a historical museum, restaurants, a grocery store, a Saturday farmers market, and live music jams where you least expect them! Local talent is highly supported in this unique cultural heaven.

The location was very close to the outlook inn the site of our daughters wedding. The house was a great space for the bridesmaids to all get ready. Very nice kitchen and balcony. Our 4 yr old granddaughter loved the trundle beds in one of the downstairs bedrooms. Very tranquil location
Our family spent several wonderful days at Sherri's beautiful property on Orcas Island. We enjoyed the views of the sea, ate the blackberries growing outside, walked to town, and cooked inside the well-stocked kitchen. Cascade Lake and Moran Park were just a short drive away, and it's easy to catch a morning ferry back to the mainland because the house is also close to the ferry terminal in the other direction. Thank you, Sherri, for hosting us so wonderfully -- we hope to return next summer!
We had a comfortable, easy stay at the clean and spacious home, close to the town of Eastsound. It was a nice base for the family, exploring Moran State Park and doing some crabbing and clamming nearby.
All as good as described
Clean, comfortable and relaxing! A great place to unwind!
Enjoyed the place. However the TV was not user friendly plus there was no DVD as listed. The back sliding door did not lock. The listing does not mention how steep the road is…. Tho close to Eastsound it surely was not walkable
This was our first VRBO and the property is lovely. It is located close to the town so it was very convenient? Our daughter was traveling with my husband and I and having her own bedroom and bathroom downstairs gave her privacy. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning looking out on the water. We would highly recommend this property.
The property is set among towering trees with views of the water. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck listening to the birds. We spotted deer several mornings as well. Even though it feels secluded, it is only a short walk into town. However, there is a steep road leading to the house which makes the walk back a bit challenging, but doable. Otherwise it's a quick two minute drive to town. Excellent location. The property was spotless and very comfortable. The house was well stocked with the essentials. We really enjoyed our stay!
Comfortable and clean vacation home in a beautiful and convenient location on Orcas island. Enjoyed the lovely views to the sea while grilling and having dinner/breakfast on the terrace.
We really enjoyed our week on Orcas Island. Sherri was the perfect host, available but unobtrusive and quick to respond to my questions. If you’re looking for relaxing downtime and outdoor recreation you’ll find it here. The town of Eastsound is charming; we discovered small shops and nice dining options. Check out The Brown Bear Bakery, The Clever Cow and Orcas Pottery There is also a nice market for groceries. We will return!
Quiet neighborhood in the forest with good views. Close to town and other sites for quick trips as well. We are coming back.
