DU/WashPark Home-6 Bed+Gym, Office & Outdoor Space

The accommodations were just perfect for our large family. I say “accommodations” as opposed to “house” because there it is so much more than simply a place to sleep. The seating spaces were huge and perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen, open and stocked with everything imaginable, couldn’t have been better. The hot tub, outdoor seating and fire pit areas came in handy, as did the artificial-grassed side yard. The hosts provided everything conceivable, including toys, balls, corn-hole boards and bags, etc. Then you have “The Basement!” What can I say? A workout room replete with equipment, a playroom for both kids AND adults with shuffleboard, ping pong, air hockey, and even a wall-mounted Connect Four game and a seating/TV area. Then there was the “Pièce de résistance:” a costume closet/room chock full of wigs, clothing, sunglasses, hats, and accessories that occupied our children for hours (of course the kids put on a fashion show). How unique… AND FUN!Lastly the sleeping accommodations were perfect. Bedrooms, bedding, and bathrooms are all first class. Of course it goes without saying (but I’ll say it anyway) that the house was spotless. I probably missed some things, but you get the gist. Add that the owners were responsive, helpful, and easy going, and you get a 6 out of 5 stars for our review! Rent this home. You won’t be disappointed!! Lovely house - well stocked - ping pong table - great neighborhood. Very pleasant experience

We were so impressed by this property and the owners. We were traveling with extended family from our preteen twins, 20 something nephews to my 70 something parents. It was perfect for everyone. All beds were cozy, the kitchen and living were huge and allowed us all to congregate easily for meals. The kids (and adults) had a blast in the game room. We usually like to get out and explore and use our rental as home base but we didn't want to leave this place. We stayed, played, dined and conversed and had the best time! The hosts have thought of everything and were so helpful and kind. We truly felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Jason and Derek have a thoughtfully designed approach to turn their home into a superb experience. Everything is organized and explained to make it easy to be a guest. The home is beautiful and laid out to give everyone space and also be together to enjoy each others company. Well done!

A spotless, spacious, well designed and maintained house. We couldn’t have asked for more to accommodate our multigenerational group of 10 humans ages 14-63 and our furry Golden friend. The spacious garage accommodated our everyday car and street parking with a permit was for our day trip passenger van. The hosts were very gracious, generous & responsive. Their impeccable taste & thoughtfulness contributed to the comfort of our stay. This home is well stocked and in a convenient neighborhood. Definitely one of the best short term rentals I have ever stayed in. I would happily stay at this property again - don’t hesitate to book it!

We had a wonderful trip, staying at the house for a family reunion. The house was beautiful, the location was wonderful, and the owners were super responsive and attentive. Everything we could possibly need was in the house, exactly where you would expect it to be. It was so organized and well cared for. They clearly thought of everything! We would definitely rent the property again if we ever came back into town.

The home is within walking distance to the Light Rail. Incredibly simple to get downtown and back to the home. The home itself is well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Jason and Derek have a beautiful home, clean, well organized. A lot of thought and care went into providing a great experience for their guests. We had four adults and a great bunch of teenage boys. They had plenty of great things to do at the house between our scheduled events. Definitely a success. I would definitely recommend and personally Vrbo at this property.
