Dusk Til Dune - Vacation Home Near the Beach with Shared Pool

The house is beautiful and clean and a short distance from the beach with ample room for a large family or group of friends. The golf cart made it easy to transport people and gear to the beach. The community pool was fun for the children. However, the automatic light in the community pool bathroom turned off on my elderly mother and she struggled to get out in the dark. Please look into changing the automatic lights. There were a few items that would have been nice for the house to have including Kleenex, salt/pepper, can opener, and dish rags. The house did provide boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes and umbrellas which was a huge perk. We tried to ask questions to the house manager/owner before the trip and did not get a reply. However, after we checked in communication improved and we were able to ask questions. There was a complimentary charcuterie board which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a beautiful home which I would recommend to others!

Neighborhood was beautiful- very nice with community pool and location to 30A and beach access is super easy. Closer then looks in photo. Very disappointed about private home owners taking over spaces on the beach and no one sitting in them all day long. Staying in a public beach access point makes getting to the beach easy but kinda crowded beach area.The home was everything we hoped Love all of the decoration/decor in house. Plenty of space for larger families. Balcony areas very nice and provides extra space too. Golf cart was a very nice addition for transportation to beach access just across 30A- house had everything we needed. The back porch area is near the outside shower and grill area was very messy and not clean when we arrived. The rest of the house was clean and comfortable. Elevator is a HUGE bonus. My elderly dad used it a few times a day. I wojld definately return to this location and home. The host was always available when needed. Before we arrived they answered all of our questions and while we were there- I even reached them by phone once about key location for golf cart. So attentive and helpful. I would Recommend this home for your next family vacation!

Over the past 35 years we have stayed in various houses and condos from Sea Side to Fort Walton Beach. This is the first time the house actually looked like the photos. It was beautiful and very spacious. I can’t say enough good things. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The only complaint I have is the beach access. It is close enough but the public beach is smaller than a football field and there are 300 or more people plus umbrellas trying to enjoy the ocean. It is ridiculous that so much of the beach is private and the people who have rented these homes that are not directly on the ocean can’t use the beach. Everything else was perfect.

Arrived at 4:00, the house was not ready until 5:45 due to cleaning problems. Found a needle and other metal debris on furniture. Garage still has paint buckets, construction material laying around in it. The gas range does not work properly, will not heat and has odor of gas. The neighborhood has house upon house stacked on it, way to crowded. Will not be back.

Everything was as advertised and we all enjoyed our stay to the ultimate!!
