Durango River Retreat, Private, Close to town.

Cindy is a gracious host and the unit is beautifully decorated, immaculate and has an amazing deck.

Great location, well furnished place, awesome close proximity to the Florida River, and very friendly and responsive hosts. Really enjoyed our stay.

Host was very wonderful to work with! Area is very quiet and peaceful.

The property was even better than described and had all amenities we could have asked for. The place was kept very clean and was comfortable! It is a bit of a drive from downtown Durango, but we thought it was well worth it for the relaxing riverside property. Cyndi is an excellent host, even bringing us some delicious freshly baked cookies as well as a bouquet of roses to celebrate our recent marriage! She kept us updated about a local bear mom and cubs that sometimes visit the property. I would absolutely recommend this stay!

Property well maintained, organized, very clean. Excellent accommodations. The owner, Cyndi was very personable and attentive. It was great staying at this VRBO.

The location was nice, and the owners were friendly. We were very comfortable and it made us feel like we were at home. It was a sad moment when we had to leave. Definitely a great place to stay. Especially if you want to disconnect yourself and get back to the way life was before becoming so busy.

Durango River Retreat is amazing. The property, the river, the housing & our host are all beautiful. This is the very best VRBO I have visited out of at least ten different rentals. Cyndi is more than a super host. She wants your stay to be perfect and is very knowledgeable about the area. The bed is so comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer are full size, and the apartment is extremely clean with such beautiful views. I will be back. I highly recommend this VRBO. (The welcome cookies are also delicious.)

Beautiful property, in and out. Kitchen stocked with all we needed. Comfortable bed and even pullout couch was great. Easy trip to town. Owners on ground in case we needed anything, but you’d never know they were there. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Great bang for the buck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Cyndi and Steve were the perfect hosts! From the chocolate chip cookies to the restaurant recommendations to the fully stocked kitchen, this is every travelers’ dream! We will definitely be back!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. The rental was immaculately clean and everything we wanted. There are two chairs right next to the river that we enjoyed our wine from every evening. We like staying outside of Durango, and we were only about 10 minutes from town! Cyndi was very responsive to my text messages and a wonderful VRBO host. We will definitely stay here again!

Location and home are beautiful, steps away from the river, quiet and serene. We wish our stay was longer! My two teenage daughters loved, our hosts even baked us cookies! Plenty to do in Durango too, we rode the Durango train to Silverton and river rafted on the animas river. Drove to telluride to do some off roading and had a race on Saturday in the San Juan mountains. Book here!

Highly Highly recommend you stay!! Very welcoming and warm atmosphere, spotless and the view is terrific . Easy to get to and easy to access. I will go back , yearly if possible. Owners made the stay easy and amazing !!

The property was absolutely beautiful and Cyndi and Steve were so welcoming!! The night we arrived, it was raining and Cyndi came out to greet us and offered to help us bring in our luggage. We turned that down but not the delicious chocolate chips cookies:) The accommodations were very comfortable- kitchen very well stocked, beds comfortable and the view and sound of the river were a true wonder!!! It was an easy drive to town where there were many great restaurants and fun shopping. AND don’t forget to take the train!! Cannot say enough as to how Cyndi and Steve’s friendliness, helpfulness and home were so appreciated.

Wonderful stay! Our home was lovely, the surroundings were lovely, and our host were the best we’ve could’ve asked for. We especially Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the bear cubs. Of course the hot chocolate chip cookies weren’t bad either. We had a wonderful stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
