Driftwood Manor - Upscale Hill Country property with Private Pool!

Nice pool and sitting area!

Beautiful setting with so many places to enjoy our family in the house and outside

The house is beautiful but it had a few shortcomings. The outlets in the upstairs bathrooms did not work; the carpet upstairs had stains. There is not enough seating in the breakfast nook. Some of the cups in the cupboard were dirty (dusty—one had a moth in it). On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, the house otherwise was clean, the pool and outdoor areas are beautiful, very peaceful. We had a great stay overall and the host/hostess was very gracious.

Great property for our group of 6! We enjoyed the pool and game room. We were close enough to town but also felt secluded. Would stay here again!

The house was huge and everyone had their own room and bathroom, which was awesome! The game room was great and so much fun. The pool was dirty and we felt comfortable getting in because the resting water looked suspicious. The grill did not work, there was little propane but the igniter didnt work but we had to cook all the food inside and planned on the grill. The carpet had stains as well from previous pet guests, no smell though. All and all its perfect if you just need a place to crash and a fun way to wrap up your evening. The hose was amazing and let us in early and we had a great time in Driftwood overall.

The property was perfect for our relaxing girls trip get away to the Texas Hill Country. The house has plenty of space and the layout of the patio and pool area was perfect. The location of the house was convenient as it is not very far away from grocery stores and shopping, but it is far enough away to enjoy the beautiful scenery, peace and quiet away from the city.

Perfect for our family group with 4 bedrooms each with own bath-and the pictures are NOT deceiving-it’s huge!! Lovely ground and critters, saw deer and a fox. And yet so close to Austin and family wedding venue.

This was perfect for our family gathering. We had four couples staying in the house and it was ideal for being together in one place yet also allowing each couple their own space. We had perfect weather so we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool area and outdoor porch. Highly recommend!

Everything looksike it did in pictures and host was responsive

Our family was visiting Austin for an after Christmas get-together. We have relatives that were very close to this location and was one of the reasons we picked this house. The location and lay-out of the house fit our family well. We knew it was a premium house with a premium price, so we splurged. As we entered the driveway we were impressed. We were soon inside and began to settle in and that is when you begin to notice the lack of upkeep. There were several large stains in the carpet throughout the house. In the master bath the left sink of the double sink did not work. It constantly ran...not drip but ran. I tried to shut the water off to the faucet, but it was already shut off. They knew it didn't work. The shower door was broken in the bathroom off of the game room. After working on it I was able to get one panel to move. There was also mold around the bathtub in this bathroom and the other guest bathroom with the bunk beds. The towels were like cheap hotel towels. One of the light covers going up the stairs was broken. Spiders were on the floors. The pool was dirty with leaves and not swimmable. We contacted the property management upon arrival and indicated the above problems and provided pictures. They were very responsive verbally and did offer to have the house cleaned but we just wanted them notified for the next guest. Nothing else was done. This could have been a dream vacation home, but it was not. Certainly not worth the premium price.

The only downside was that the jets did not work in the Jacuzzi tub, only one pool stick had an actual tip on it and the gate would not close after entering. I would recommend this property to friends and family. Beautiful place!

Plenty of room for the whole family to relax, work, study, and lounge — together or privately. Every bedroom has a bathroom which was awesome for us all needing to get ready for wedding festivities. I’m especially grateful for the location in a Dark Sky area.

In need of repairs

We went for our annual girls trip and it was so beautiful and relaxing! We loved the property and the home was great!

We enjoyed our time and the property was close to all the things we wanted to do. The wild life on the property was fun to watch. Our biggest wish was that the pool and patio were cleaner. We contacted managment about pool filter being clogged and sweeper bag having hole which was blowing debrise back out. Nothing was done. Some of the outside furniture was broken or dirty.

Great, beautiful property and georgous house. The main town is only nine minutes away. All the rooms were clean and beds were so comfortable. Deer are all over this property, They came to visit every morning and every afternoon. My only small let down was the swimming pool’s cleanliness. Algae growing on the walls, and robot was not useful at all. Wasn’t terrible, Just something we had to deal with. Otherwise, this would’ve been a five star rating.

We loved the layout, the game room, the gazebo in the back yard. The yard was beautiful! The beds are really comfortable! So, the things that need attention: Stained carpets. When we got there there was even a wet spot in the master. And most other carpets weren’t great but it’s nice carpet and will clean up well! The kitchen was not well stocked so bring your own stuff! The pool was not circulating and there was zero chlorine. (Happen to have a test kit in my car) Just things to note! We still had a nice time!
