Dreamy Days: Coastal Cottage with Awe-inspiring Oceanfront Setting

Dreamy Days has excellent location to the beach. I liked the steps off the deck to the beach. My older pup found them easiest to navigate. I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck ans listening to the surf. I did not cook so I don't know how well the kitchen was stocked. I would recommend that a disclaimer be added to the listing as far as the construction of a new house next door. I couldn't sit outside from 8am to 6:30 pm due to the construction noise and music playing. I wanted to hear the surf. Give it six or seven months and the house should be completed. Other than that it was a wonderful home and lication.

My husband and I just returned from a week long stay at this property and had a wonderful time. It is a very quaint, pet-friendly beach house with ocean front views and ocean front access that was unbeatable. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the beach wasn't overly crowded. We were able to set up our chairs on the beach and come and go throughout the day. You are literally steps from the house. The view from the deck is great as well, we spent every morning and evening there while still having great views of the ocean. This beach house is not one of the newer properties in the area but does appear to have gone thru some updates. If you are looking for 5 star luxury, this isn't for you. But if you want a great little spot to call home for the week that is clean, comfy and perfect proximity to the beach, then go ahead and book it. I loved everything about this little beach house, it was cozy and relaxing and I wouldn't hesitate to book this again or recommend it to someone else.

Loved this little beach house for my family. Everything we needed and perfect, private access directly to the beach. I didn’t particularly love the bed, but my wife had no problems so could have just been a personal preference.

We were thrilled with the location for our first family vacation with our son's family, including our 2 granddaughters. The front deck offers a great view of the ocean and the beach is only a short walk over the dunes.The house itself is pretty bare bones and in need of upgrades.There is absolutely no cabinet space for food. All kitchen cabinets are full of dishes.We had to use the counter space for our food, some of which had to be thrown out because of ants. The cookware, especially frying pans need to be replaced. We bought a new one for our stay.The handle on the kitchen faucet is too close to the wall in order to get the hottest water. Brooms etc. need to be replaced. A floor vacuum would be a welcome addition as we were constantly sweeping sand off the vinyl floors.The water pressure in the upstairs shower is extremely weak. The downstairs shower is ok but there is no drainage and the area becomes very sandy. There is no handle on the outdoor hose bib and no sprayer on the hose in order to wash sand from garage/shower area.The shower going up the ocean side steps works ok but the lower spigot could use an angled outlet in order to wash sand from your feet before going into the house.The electronic lock on the upstairs door was wonky. It would take several attempts before getting it to open.I'm usually not one to complain but as a former owner of a beach rental, I would not list anything before addressing these issues.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice rustic beach getaway with great views of the beach. We'll definitely be coming back.

Very clean with newly replaced floor and kitchen appliances. Great location on beach!
