This house was huge and accommodated all of us. The kitchen was big and nice. The kids loved the theatre room. The views of the mountains from the backyard with all the white snow was amazing.
This is an annual event where friends and family come up to Big Bear to celebrate my husband’s birthday as well as go to Oktoberfest. This was the 8th year my husband I have gone up there and the 2nd year we have invited our friends and family. All of us really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, we had plenty of space, and the kitchen was fantastic. I only wish the backyard was completely fenced in so we could have let my dogs run off leash. Other than that, we had a great weekend. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you. Karla and Kevin.
Great house and lots of private sleeping areas for our large family vacation. There was lot of snow when we arrived so it was hard to say what the exterior really looked like underneath. Inside was well furnished and had lots of seating and areas for everyone to spread out comfortably. There were a few things broken when we arrived but someone came out quickly to fix. You can tell the house is older and had some cosmetic upgrades, but there seemed to be lots of water damage to the ceilings. Probably due to all the snow and rain recently. Great location and plenty of parking. Could use a few more towels and forks for the size party that we had staying. :) Overall, my family really liked it and kept saying they wanted to rent this house again!
We took our family from Hawaii to the property for their first time at Big Bear and also in the snow. We paid alot of money for the 5 nights, 13 of us including kids. The cleaners need to be checked as there was numerous cleaning issues around the place, too many to List, and the house needs some TLC. Thé right side of the house has electrical issues so when we arrived nothing worked and I had to call to get info on resetting the breakers. The washer seal was broken so the washer leaked the entire time we were there, and the roof leaked into kitchen and dinning area. We are very easy going group so just dealt with it but you would expect a lot more if your paying that much for 5 nights…. Having snow outside and everyone’s first time saved the trip, couldn’t get the group off the clouds they were floating in. Property managers responded to everything but obviously these issues were happening prior to our stay so either they did nothing or the cleaners didn’t give them any info on these problems……
Very accommodating for our family.
We rented this property to host a high school running team and it was perfect. So much space, a ton of bathrooms, and open and accommodating common areas.
This house was perfect for our group of multiple families. Plenty of sleeping options and a big open area to spread out in. We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and especially the theater room! Our only complaint is that they need to stock the house better with more towels (if you're using the hot tub there were no more towels for showers), dish towels, paper towels, dish detergent, soap/shampoo in the showers (I did not realize we needed to bring our own), and more basic cooking supplies like olive oil, foil/wrap, sugar. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will be looking to go back!
Great Property and Home but I did keep a list of things that could make it better due to the high end of the property & expectations. Should have TV in every bedroom The bedrooms without closets should at least have some sort of rack to hang clothes An Outside large trash can with lid to put trash in so we don;t have to leave outside on ground with possible animal invastion. Garage available to guests Housekeeping do a more thorough job of checking the details. House holds 16 and only 11 towels, no soap for the shower, ball missing from one of the game tables, cupboard with games but a mess so didn't disturb, ice maker hooked up....inventory and organize that great kitchen that has no organization to it and could use larger pieces for serving due to the number of people eating. Just some suggestions...Thanks
The cabin is spacious, clean, well maintained and plentyof room for sleep. Fits perfectly to a large family. Huge backyard full of snow. Will definitely come back again and again.
We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay here. There was enough parking for 6 cars in the drive way. There’s a ton of rooms and they have a lot of couches for extra sleeping space. They didn’t tell us the place was going to be remodeled which threw of a some sleep arrangement so , but other than that it was nice and there’s no complaints . They had little sleds in the back that we took to the snow. My family wants to rent it again next year.
