    We have been coming to Marco for many years and this is probably the best property we’ve rented. Everything was great. The hot tub and swing overlooking the water topped everything off.

    I secured this rental home in February, 2024 through. VRBO, but it was posted online with VRBO by Beachside Oasis of SWFL for the rental period from December 1, 2024 - February 28, 2025. The rental fell very short of matching the listing. The property manager and owner had 10 months to get it ready so it matched the description, including what needed to be fixed or replaced. While the rental property APPEARED to look fine from the photos, it was NOT a Dream Waterfront Retreat, IMHO, and the things that were wrong were not disclosed in the listing nor could they be seen in the photos. I complained shortly after arriving after finding things that were wrong - the bathtub needed replacing, 4 of 6 sliding doors and all the windows would not open and were sealed shut, master bathroom walls had touch up paint all over them, but were not repainted, most outdoor furniture cushions were filthy, outdoor dining table had chipped and peeling paint (or finish), old and worn out master bedroom comforter and pillows and many chipped and cracked floor tiles. It took a little over a month to get a settlement offer regarding the property, and they wanted me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Their settlement agreement was unacceptable to me, and I turned it down.
