Dramatic Oceanfront House with Pool--Cane Bay Sanctuary

Very attentive host- wonderful location and fully equipped-plus a large swimning pool- outside sheltered eating area- and right on the ocean.

Jill was amazing. Her lovely home was well stocked for things I didn’t even realize we needed! She was so helpful with recommendations and being there when we needed her!

Jill is phenomenal and a perfect Host! We love the location and home. Everything was perfect. We could have stayed another week just gazing out over the ocean being mesmerized by the waves. This was just what we needed to reset as we head back to a long winter back home.Thank you so much Jill we will cherish the memories we had at your home and... getting to know you. I truly feel like we were meant to meet and we look forward to the chance to meet up again

We couldn't of been happier this find this stay. We spent most of our time exploring the island but when we were not doing that we were enjoying the amazing views & pool. At night, we enjoyed stargazing on the upper deck and also caught some lightning storms. The location was perfect and away from crowds. There were great food, drink and beach areas within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this stay! Jill was an awesome host and great to us!

We had an incredible week-long stay at this charming house in St. Croix, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the dramatic yet relaxing sounds of the ocean set a serene tone for our vacation. The views from the front porch and windows were absolutely stunning—picture-perfect Caribbean vistas that made every morning coffee and evening sunset unforgettable.The house itself was impeccably furnished, offering all the comforts of home and more. The kitchen was highly functional, with everything we needed to prepare meals throughout the week. We especially appreciated the thoughtful inventory of items, including extras like insect spray, which made settling in for an extended stay effortless and stress-free.Our hosts, Jill and Zuri, were the highlights of the experience. Jill was an absolute delight, providing regular debriefs and spot-on recommendations that enhanced our time on the island. Zuri was shy and adorable adding a warm and welcoming touch to our interactions.If we ever return to St. Croix, we'd book this place again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing, well-equipped getaway!

Cane Bay Sanctuary is amazing in every way! The setting on the ocean is breathtaking.the home is immaculate, well stocked with everything you need for a tropical vacation and beautifully decorated inside and out. It is conveniently located. There are several restaurants in walking distance and easy to access both the east and west sides of the island. Jill the owner is an absolute gem! Kind, friendly, conscientious and readily available for any questions, help and recommendations . I would highly recommend this slice of heaven in St Croix!

We had a wonderful stay!! The house is beautiful and we enjoyed many hours just sitting on the deck listening to the waves crash. It’s in a convenient location on the island and everything was easy to get to. Jill was very helpful with recommendations and helping with anything we needed!! Would absolutely recommend.

Cane Bay Sanctuary is just that, a heavenly sanctuary! Jill is an amazing host and wonderful person, and her dog Zuri is a lovely addition to the property. We were mesmerized by the view, the waves that crash below, and all the wildlife and sea life that entertained us daily. The gated property, private pool, several decks with spectacular views all lend to the vibe, safely tucked away in the middle of paradise. Kitchen well appointed, bed's comfortable, the owner pays attention to detail! We will be back, just not soon enough!

Absolutely excelling host. She is so kind & always responded quickly!Home & property was gorgeous & location was perfect! Our favorite place in St. Croix to eat & relax on beach was literally down the road! Close to 5/5 rating. 1 minor setback was being unaware & uncomfortable finding out the day we met at the property to get keys was, finding out those also lived in the other home on fenced in rental home which was literally next to the pool & house. Luckily, this time coming, we brought our 18 year old son & his gf. So wasn’t a huge issue, but that type of information should be on the property listing. Again minor issue, but had it only been my finance & I coming, then yes I would have been upset, requested refund & stayed at the condo we normally book at. I would like to point out that she DOES NOT bother, or intrude during entire stay! She only came out a few times to let her FRIENDLY buy a little shy dog to go potty & stretch. This NEVER bothered us. Which host does disclose dog on rental listing with adorable pics of her?Overall, host is genuinely so kind, def super host, her property is beyond well maintained, beautiful, & cleaned! Overall experience 5/5!!

Cane Bay Sanctuary is exactly that. A relaxing, private oasis just steps away from the action Cane Bay offers. Centrally located between Fredericksburg and Christiansted, it was ideal. Jill is an amazing host, available for questions or suggestions, but unobtrusive to allow for privacy. Great place!!

Jill was an incredible host and really took care of us before and during our stay at this property. The house is on the coast, with multiple decks overlooking the ocean. You can hear tranquil waves day and night. Location is great if you like being away from a city center - we really appreciated the short walk/drive (3 min drive) to Cane Bay Beach and good restaurants, especially Sunny Shore Up (breakfast), AMA (dinner, get a reservation, great bar), and The Landing (lunch and dinner). Jill went out of her way to ensure we had a great experience, providing helpful recommendations and customer service. We would return to Cane Bay Sanctuary in a heartbeat!

This is a must stay. Jill is a terrific host. We had a great time visiting with her and seeing Zuri who was a little shy to play with us. The views are spectacular, the pool is amazing, and it's in a great location. The home had everything we needed, down to reusable water bottles. We had a terrific time here and you won't regret staying here.
