Stayed Aug 23, 2025Really great location if you want to be close to the downtown Glen Arbor area. You can walk to downtown, the shops, restaurants, etc. The house has a nice apacious living space and kitchen. The screened in back.porch is a great additional room for chatting, games, relaxing and reading. We also used the BBQ and the the fire pit. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jul 6, 2025Overall we really enjoyed the house. Great location!A few issues we had was the lock didn’t work per the instructions so it took quite a while to figure out how to lock it. We also had a few ants on the living room floor and a few bugs on the kitchen counter.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025The screened porch is the highlight of this property. Indoor living room furniture is very comfy, and the WiFi and DirecTV were fine for our needs. The kitchen utensils need some help. There wasn’t a single knife that could cut anything. The appliances were all high quality and worked well. We were a family of six adults, and the beds didn’t work for us. The bunk beds are really for young children, and that should be noted - my husband and I tried to sleep on them and couldn’t. We ended up getting a large air mattress and then using that bunk bedroom as a closet. This was our third stay in this particular property. I’m not sure we’d book it again.

Stayed Jun 5, 2025This is a cozy house on a quiet street but within walking distance to fun restaurants and shops. We loved our first visit to Glen Arbor because of this house. Our family of six had a great time here!

Stayed Oct 11, 2024We chose this property specifically because it was advertised as being able to accommodate 8 guests, but we encountered several issues that made this far from ideal. When we pulled out the couch to use it as the advertised sofa bed, it was in a shocking state—completely unclean with dead bugs, hair, dust, dirt, and even a dog treat bone. This made it clear that this area had not been cleaned or prepared for use in quite some time, which was very disappointing and unacceptable for a rental meant to host multiple guests.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We could not have been more pleased with this experience. Just like staying at a relative's home! Easy to access. Everything to make our family's stay completely fun and enjoyable was included. House was spotless and very warm and inviting. I cannot think of anything that was not included. What a wonderful experience! This is the best vacation experience my family has ever had! I can't wait to visit again!

Stayed Sep 7, 2024We have stayed here several times now. We have never been disappointed. A beautiful, comfortable house, surrounded by trees, but steps away from everything in Glen Arbor.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024The location on a quiet street near the bookstore and Cherry Republic was the PERFECT location for our multi generation family to spend a week in Glen Arbor, the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and the Leelanau Peninsula! The house has an extremely well equipped kitchen, linens, washer/dryer for all those beach towels. Bikes, kayaks etc. The best part is the huge screened porch with tables chairs & sofas for family games, puzzles and art making! I think although the house is rated for 8 guests, it is most comfortable for 6...my granddaughters loved the bunkbeds!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Whether it’s a cup of coffee, an iced tea, or a glass of wine… the back porch is the perfect place to enjoy it. It’s my favorite spot in the whole house and really makes this property stand out.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our 8th year renting this house, so we are very attached to it, but this year we were very disappointed in conditions there. Really needs updating and much better maintenance. That said, the location remains ideal and this house has lots of potential. We do hope someone pays attention and gives it some much needed TLC.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The location is perfect! We loved being able to walk everywhere. The porch is amazing because it's a great place to dine, hang with family, take a nap, watch the deer, play board games, or read a good book!
