El Paso, Texas
Enjoy this cozy renovated 1920's house thats within seconds from I-10 and minutes from downtown. Near by there are parks, restaurants and bars for the night life. Southwest University stadium and Abraham Chavez are within walking distance. UTEP and San Jacinto Park are about 1 mile away. You will have access to the entire house that has a full kitchen , full restroom, and 2 bedrooms that have queen size beds. This Airbnb is located close to downtown El Paso . Let this be your next airbnb.
Cozy little place. Overall cleanliness was awesome. Noise from the nearby highway was the only drawback. Could also use some curtains in the bedrooms for light elimination. Windows are very old so the noise from the next-door coffee shop was loud. Parking through the back is very difficult with a full-size pickup, but doable.
Mark never sent information on property, until day of I had to call him several times which he did not answer and sent lock information late. It’s a sketchy area and had issues with an uber driver knocking on our door at 4 AM which lead to a 911 call. Mark did not help in any way, and beforehand repeatedly asked questions about my intentions at the bnb which were honest. Would recommend you getting another bnb
There was a soft grate in the floor that needs replacing (it’s covered by a small rug). I thought I’d fall through the first time I walked in as it’s in the walkway. The beach gate was chained and locked so I got in through this little side fence area, it wasn’t safe but I didn’t want to disturb the owners because it was after midnight when my delayed flight got in. All in all the place was super clean, a great location and was exactly like the pictures. It is right off an exit in a pseudo-busy are (didn’t bother me, as mentioned in previous reviews).
has nothing to do with the picture post.
Great stay, clean, easy to find. Worked out great.
Absolutely loved it. Easy to get to great area and clean!
Property was perfect for my needs. Close to downtown and a short drive to the west side of town. Clean and comfy, bed was great and traffic noise wasn't bad at all.
Check in process was easy, house is spacious, great view from the front porch and great distance away from fun activities, restaurants/bars. Host was very professional and flexible.
We really enjoyed our one night at this place. It’s super cute with everything we needed to make a nice dinner in the kitchen. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs as you can hear the noise from the freeway. But that was the only thing I can recommend for it. It was clean, easy check in/out, gated parking in the yard, and cozy.
Our family of 5 stayed here overnight on the way to AZ. Arrived around 8:30 PM. Easy access to secure gate & parking off alley behind property. Nice variety of food nearby & proximity to UT El Paso campus a plus. Neighbor's dog did bark some (but not all night as had been stated in some of the previous reviews) & there was road noise from being so close to I-10, but we came prepared with our noise machine. Overall, great stay & easy access on & off I-10 to continue on our trip.
Me and my niece came to El Paso for her to check out the UTEP school and campus. We really enjoyed how cozy and comfy the house was. Location was also great for both easy access to downtown and to the UTEP campus. Only thing to be wary of is that if you are a very sensitive sleeper, the house is literally right off of I-10 and when we stayed there was more than 1 barking dog in the neighborhood to compete with as well. It didn't disrupt our stay, but I could see other travelers possibly could have a hard time with that. Lastly, perhaps some motion sensitive lights around the gate where you access the property would be nice. I felt a bit self conscious using my cell phone light in an alleyway attempting to access the property. And also just some simple towel racks in both bedrooms would make a lot of sense as well. All in all though, a great stay and we had a wonderful time staying in this home with the view of Mexico right in front of us!
