Our home is unique in that it can exit as one large house, or it can convert into a two-unit home with a floor level and downstairs basement, making this house perfect for a large group of friends or large families. There is an interior staircase that connects the bottom unit to the top unit. The stairwell can be closed off by a door for privacy between the units, or leave it open for large families! Both the upstairs and downstairs have their own separate, private entrances. Each floor includes bedrooms (two upstairs, three downstairs), one full bathroom upstairs and downstairs, two living rooms and two kitchens. The queen bedroom upstairs has a connected room that is great for small children or a nursery!
Our property is perfect for big families or multiple families / large groups of friends traveling together! You won't find anything else like this in such a desirable location as downtown Bozeman. It's truly a rare gem!
Guest will have access to the entire house, backyard, parking area / driveway and front yard areas. Our home is an older home with stairs. It is unfortunately not equipped to facilitate those with special needs in wheelchairs.
Additional rules
Please read our "house rules" below to get the best experience during your stay!
1) It's easily to track in snow, mud and dirt in Bozeman so we ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the house. We provide a basket of slippers in the shoe closet to keep your feet clean and warm!
2) No smoking on the property please! Guest often leave the windows open and the smoke can drift inside and makes the space smell like cigarettes. You can vape or smoke in the alleyway. Please dispose of your butts in the big garbage can next to the alley.
3) We require a $200, pet deposit fully refundable upon checkout assuming there are no damages. Please DO NOT let your pet up on the furniture. An additional $50 will be kept from the pet deposit as an extra cleaning fee if there is excessive pet hair found on the upholstery, linens, furniture or beds. We recommend putting a sheet over the couch if you think your pup might hop up on the couch while you’re away. It’s much easier for our cleaners to wash a sheet than it is clean dog hair off the couch!
4) PLEASE pick up your doggie's poop in the yard. We provide green eco-friendly poop bags inside the front entry way closet. Please place poop bags in the outside garbage can near the driveway (not inside the indoor trash cans).
5) We love our neighbors and want to keep them happy! Please keep noise levels down after 10 PM.
6) We charge a $50 “lock-out” fee if you lose the keys or accidentally break the key or the lock on the trailer door.
7) The fire pit is wonderful for small fires and for roasting hotdogs and ‘smores! NO BIG FIRES and please do not throw your trash in the fire. Montana has burn bans if there is wildfire danger. Please check the burn ban status on the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation website.
8) Accidents do happen, and we understand! If something breaks or gets damaged, please let us know. We are confident we can work out a solution! If the accident is not reported before checkout though, we’ll need to report it to Airbnb.
All guests are required to follow VRBO standard requirements, which includes confirmed phone number, email address, payment information, and agreement to your house rules.
This place has everything you want from a Vrbo. Very clean, everything works, extra towels, extra blankets, lots of pillows and a kitchen (or two if you rent the whole house) that is well appointed. Very responsive property managers. I would stay here again for sure!
We had a wonderful time at the Little Yellow House. Very clean, spacious and comfortable!! Magical little yard with a table and chairs to sit and have morning coffee. Also a fire pit to sit around in the evening. We were walking distance from Main Street which had shopping and many restaurants. We have two grandchildren at MSU and hope to come again and stay at the Little Yellow House!!
