DOUBLE CAPE ESCAPE...PRIVATE WATERFRONT OASIS W/HEATED POOL, DOCK & PATIO BAR

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house worked really well for us. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The heated pool allowed us to use it everyday. It was really nice to have breakfast at the pool bar every morning and also end our days there too. Lisa also allowed us to check in early which was helpful and was very good at communicating with us. If we go to Cape Coral again we will definitely stay here.

The host was super sweet and amazing, her response time was very quick. House was stocked well with kitchen supplies. The pool was heated well and the back porch was our favorite place, we spent a lot of time out on it playing games on at bar table. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was very accommodating for our 7 guests. We would totally stay again if we come back to the area.

We spent our Christmas holiday at this beautiful home and it was perfect for our group - a quiet side for those who wanted it and plenty of space for the younger among us to hang out later in the evenings. We were a little concerned that we might not be able to prepare some of our traditional holiday meals in someone else’s kitchen but Lisa made sure we had everything we needed on hand. The location has easy access to restaurants and grocery/convenience stores, many within walking distance. Everything was exceptionally clean and well kept. I would 100% recommend this home.

The VRBO property layout is ideal for 6-8 adults. Originally a duplex, it has been beautifully remodeled into a seamless all-inclusive unit. The bedrooms are thoughtfully positioned at all four corners of the house, ensuring privacy and quiet. Each bedroom features its own modern bathroom, adding a touch of convenience and luxury. There are numerous gathering spaces perfect for playing cards or enjoying separate activities. The smart TVs are a great addition, making it easy to share photos or relax with your favorite shows. The dual refrigerators and stackable washer units are incredibly handy for large groups, and the pool is simply amazing—just the right size with unbeatable views. The location is fantastic, too. You're about 20 minutes away from Sanibel, downtown Fort Myers, FGCU, and RSW airport, plus within walking distance to food and supplies. This VRBO is equipped with everything you could possibly need, even items you didn’t realize you’d want. It truly feels like a home away from home. Lisa and Charles have created an oasis that checks all the boxes.

Great property with plenty of space and in a very convenient location.

Our group was looking for 5 night stay, with space to accommodate 6 for a 16u baseball tournament weekend in Ft Myers, FL. This location was perfect! 4B + 4 bathrooms, two living rooms, and 2 washer dryers. Gorgeous outdoor space, with a pool, kayaks for the canal and fun fishing from the dock. Grocery shopping and restaurants all within walking distance.

Our first stay at Double Cape Escape in Cape Coral certainly won’t be our last!! We’ve stayed in countless holiday homes over years of travelling in USA, Canada, and Europe and Lisa’s home is by far the best. We loved it so much it instantly felt like home! Spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped, and an outstanding pool deck, with terrific views. Lisa was a fabulous host who always checked in with us and even managed to deliver some UK home comforts for us (kettle, ironing board, iron). Can’t wait to return.
