Dora Splash Pad

The pool was fun. We had a great time making family memories during stay and daughters wedding.

Loved the pool & games. Clean. Comfortable beds. Close to activities. Would definitely book again!

The owners of Splash pad were very accommodating. Weather wise it was the perfect time of year for us. Enjoyed the walking distance to town and also walking to Lake Gertide the sunsets were a little piece of heaven. Mount Dora lived up to the rumors. The shops, restaurants, beautiful sunset views. Farmers market , festivals, library had a few concerts we attended. We also took advantage of Lake Doras pontoon boat tours 1 of the canal the other sunset both amazing. Lovely town lovely vacation.

We stayed at this property expecting what was advertised and what we paid for, and unfortunately it did not line up.The listing clearly showed a foosball table and that was one of the reasons we chose this place for family downtime. There was no foosball table when we arrived. That matters when you are traveling with kids and planning activities around what is shown in the listing.One of the king beds was extremely poor quality. It was old, loud, uncomfortable, and honestly borderline unusable for adults expecting a normal king bed experience at this price point.The biggest issue was the hot water. We did not have reliable hot water for the better part of two days of our stay. That is not a small inconvenience. That is a basic habitability issue when you are paying premium short term rental pricing. After all of that, we were offered only a 100 refund, which did not feel proportional to the disruption to our stay.To give credit where it is due, communication was very fast. They responded quickly every time we reached out. Also, when there was a miscommunication about pool heating, they heated the pool at no charge, which we did appreciate.Overall, the responsiveness was good, but the listing accuracy, bed quality, and hot water issue made this stay disappointing, especially considering the cost.

The amenities were great. Only complaint was mattresses need to be replaced. Other than that, everything was clean and decorated really well.

We stayed during the summer of 2025 and it was a great place to stay! The place was super clean, and as described in all the pics. The AC went out the first day we were there but Brenda and Ray were on top of things and had a repair guy our right away to fix the issue! Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

We had an amazing stay! The highlight for our family was definitely the enclosed pool. We spent hours out there every day!Communication with the owner was top-notch. They were responsive, helpful, and provided clear instructions for everything. You can tell they really care about making guests feel welcome.And if you're traveling with kids (or kids-at-heart), the arcade games are a total win. The classic games that brought back serious nostalgia. We would absolutely come back again — highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a fun, relaxing stay with great amenities and plenty of space.

This is our 2nd stay at Splash Pad. The house works perfectly for us. The pool area was clean and the patio was clean too. Owner was great to work with.

The location was perfect for downtown Mt. Dora and easy access to Eustis. The Splash Pad had something for every age group. Hosts are delightful.

The property was great for families with kids. Easy access to town with plenty of shopping, dining, and activities. Wonderful stay! Would highly recommend.

Girls weekend spent in the pool, walking to downtown Mount Dora. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The home was spacious and cute.

This was the perfect spot for four generations to enjoy the pool and exploring Mount Dora and surrounding areasWe regret that we did not get Into Kelly Rocksprings as it was a very busy holiday weekend, so we are looking to return again.Will rebook for our ladies kayak adventure

This was a great vacation home. Had a great pool screened in which is great for the summer bugs to stay away. Had arcade games and very spacious. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Loved it and would definitely recommend it!

Great property! Very clean, spacious, perfect for a family. The host communicated well and even accommodated our request for a later checkout due to our scheduling needs (I’m sure this isn’t always possible, but the host obviously wants to help her guests out when she can) The home is very conveniently located to shops & restaurants - all of which were just adorable. The pool and outside dining table were so enjoyable, and the backyard landscape really made the property very private and peaceful. Exceptional in every way!!

Cannot say enough how great this vacay was. Such a relaxing stay, enough to not even want to leave the house. So many great memories made

This home is exactly what we needed to enjoy a week away coming from snow in Upstate NY. Location is perfect being so close to shopping in Mount Dora very close to Taveres and Leesburg as well, to visit friends. Clean/comfort!

The setting up the vacation stay was very easy the key pad and the set up the day to get in was worry free brenda was great to work with and very helpful everything very very clean and very comfortable the pool very clean and enjoyed and to close up after vacation very simple a great time had had through it all very easy to all attractions

There was plenty of comfortable space in the home and we enjoyed our stay while attending the BASSMASTER Junior Series tournament on the Harris Chain of Lakes. The property owner was very responsive through the entire process from booking to check out. Thank you!

My parents (who are in their 90's) live in FL while I live up north. Each visit we look for a change of scenery for them and this time it was Mount Dora. The house was perfect, very comfy and accessible. The weather was a bit chilly so we didn't get to enjoy the outside patio/pool, but it was lovely nonetheless. We took the sunset/Christmas lights cruise one evening and I would highly recommend! Also check out Tony's for the best chowder.

Owner had plenty of towels, dishes, silverware, games. Very clean home. Great location! Owner readily available for questions. Very friendly. Hope to return someday.

we didn't have enough TP but resolved the issue with the owner. Bathroom ceiling fans and kitchen freezer icemaker do not work. There are stains on bed sheets/pillow cases, and were told to change them out with others in a linen closet. We paid for the pool to be heated, but it was still so cold; we were refunded the fee. My husband looked at the thermostat to the pool and it was in the off position and was 67 degrees, even before we mentioned how cold it was. This was a work trip, not a vacation.

Stayed in November nice home in good location .Good host. Would recommend plus be sure to heat the pool since it is on a covered area.

Was hopeful, yet while the house had visual bells and whistles, the little details matter. No tissues, not enough toilet paper, lights burnt out, old dishwasher, mold around the filtered water spout in refrigerator, toilet seats too small for the toilet, stained seating in the dining room, some TV’s didn’t work. The secondary bath was lovely, the showers were very good (grateful I brought along extra soap)

The house is much more spacious than the photos can convey. Very clean, and very well decorated. I especially liked the location, as it was easy to navigate to all the different places we went to.

This was a great home for our girlfriend’s trip! We all loved this home as it had plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and nicely decorated. We loved sitting outside by the pool with our coffee in the morning and our wine at night. The hosts were great and communication was good too. We loved being so close to town.

We had a wonderful time. The house provided plenty of space. Everything we needed was there. The owner was incredibly good with communication prior to our stay. We will definitely plan it again for next year!

Brenda is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything that we needed. The house is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We were there to visit our grandchildren and were able to have them over for a pool party. The house, the yard and the pool are very well kept. Housekeeping does a very good job. The house is convenient to the the old downtown part of Mount Dora which is very nice and has a lot of nice little shops. It is also convenient to grocery shopping and other needs. Our plan is to stay there again in about 6 months when we return for another grandkids visit.

Overall we enjoyed the home and pool. The arcade and air hockey was a big hit with grandchildren and us. The back pool area was lovely . However, the furniture could use a good cleaning or replacement

We ( hubby and mother in Law and myself) just returned from 4 fun filled and relaxing days spent at Brenda and Tay’s Splash Pad. The house was exactly as described. We loved the set up and all the fun recreation extras of the arcade games and air hockey. The pool was a great size and was plenty deep enough. We had a hiccup with the arcade and ice maker and Ray was there within 15 minutes and had both up and running quickly. They had everything organized into a nice binder with brochures and tips. Brenda answered all my preliminary questions before our arrival. The house is in a quaint neighborhood 2 blocks from the lake walking trail. Hubby and so walked the 2 blocks in the morning. We were within 5 minutes from downtown and enjoyed a nice meal and sunset from Pisces Rising. We would definitely book again.

Had a great time at this house. The pool and outdoor patio was a huge benefit. We had a few days of rain due to a tropical depression but because the patio is covered, we were still able to enjoy the pool and be outdoors!

We will definitely stay there again if needed. the kids loved the pool and we all loved the house. Great location too. Highly recommend it and the host was very accommodating.
