Dogs OK & Golf Cart Included! 3BR/2BA - Coast Guard Rd.

It was a nice place, but there were issues. One was not your problem, however - construction workers beside us had indecent language, VERY much so. The other issue was the outgoing cleaning crew. I did not know my grandson left his Beats earphones at our house. I did not know that. More information..

It was good for a long weekend at the beach…dining area is a little tight but it worked fine. Golf cart was nice and the available beach accessories.

This house is tucked into some trees and fairly private from the main road. The lot next door is currently being prepared for new construction, but the noise was minimal during our stay. The porch was our favorite hang out spot in the evening. We even got to see deer. The firepit was unusable our trip due flooding after a recent hurricane. The golf cart was a life saver for getting to the beach. However, it should be noted that there is no legal way to take the golf cart out of the neighborhood which is off Coast Guard Road. The new kitchen in this house was great! It was well stocked and clean. The beds are comfortable. There were plenty of provided bath towels, washcloths and kitchen towels. The shower water pressure was great and never ran out of hot water. There is a pet fee $250 which was not listed in property details. Overall, my family had a great week and the rental company was very pleasant.

Initially, reported the house was clean; however, after a few hours in the house we noticed black hair everywhere, suspect it was black dog hair-it was on furniture, bathrooms, beds, kitchen. Remotes for the tvs in two of the bedrooms were missing. Eventually we did find one under a dresser in the master bedroom. Not sure where the other one was, never located it. Part way through our week the headlights on the golf cart went out. The house is at a nice location, the golf cart is great and convient. Overall, this is a nice place. We enjoyed our week. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Love the house and location

The rental company did not disclose to us there would be the clearing of a lot next to us during our stay. I rented the home because it was off the road, surrounded by trees and semi private. The tranquillity of sitting on the front porch at 7:15 am everyday was non existence due to an earth mover dropping multiple trees at least 25 in diameter followed by four chainsaws simultaneously cutting up the trees. Then the dump trucks arrive to haul away the cut lumber. This was every morning for four mornings. I reached out to Shorewood to express my disappointment and received a I'm very sorry. The house was very nice with a well stocked kitchen. Outdoor area, without all the noise, would have been great. Having the golf cart was really nice going to the beach. We made the best of it, thankful for beautiful weather, just stayed on the beach all day.
