Dog-friendly Woodland home with two-sided wood fireplace, WiFi, and washer/dryer

The host made sure that everything was up to par for our arrival and departure.

We enjoyed being in the mountains and close to wineries. It was a relaxing visit. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The house was amazing and very clean, the location is very safe. However, it would’ve been nice to know prior to booking that the driveway is very steep. I drive a FWD and my car got stuck numerous times on the driveway. The gate was also an issue for the entirety of the trip. The gate guards kept telling me that my name was not in the system and every time I had to insist that I had already checked in just fine and to please let me in. It was a lot of hassle throughout my trip.

We booked property based on picture showing a flat drive. The bottom of the drive is flat, but you have two steep entrances. You have to gun the engine to get up and your car drags on the ground due to ruts and you can’t see if anyone coming down the road very dangerous. We tried both side of the circle drive and both bad. We parked on the side of the road after a neighbor told us he had not seen anyone park in the drive. The walk up and down is steep. We could not stay out late because it was too dark to safely attempt. We also had trouble with combination lock. We called Vacasa and the gave us code to lock box with a key. The key was hard to use because the lock spins. They were unable to fix it while we were there. Someone had been smoking because house smelled and we found wrapping paper inside the cabin. Would not recommend you stay unless you have four wheel drive. There is no place other than the deck for children to play. Cabin was nice and kitchen had all the essentials you would need.

We've stayed here multiple times and never had any issues this time we had to call the police three times on the drunk lady next door who hates renters and tries running people off comes over screaming at your kids and harassing us our whole trip we wasn't comfortable at all and we never got any response when we wanted a refund because the drunk neighbor wouldn't let us come outside without yelling or filming you from behind a tree horrible experience other than that the house is beautiful if you want to stay inside

It's a great safe area to have a getaway from all the hustle bustle of the city just rented it for a 2nd time my family loves it ❤️

Beautiful house, perfect size and had everything we needed. Not far from the main road and close to downtown Ellijay. We had 5 adults plus 2 small dogs, and the size of the property accommodated us perfectly Very clean and lots of indoor seating. Absolutely loved the outdoor firepit as well- perfect for roasting marshmallows. The property itself and experience were worthy of 5 stars but I am knocking off a star for 2 reasons. 1 is that there was no table large enough for everyone to sit down together. It would have been nice to have a large table to accommodate everyone on the large deck. The 2nd reason is that I would have preferred to speak directly with owners or people that managed the property rather than just generic 'Vacasa' answering services. Although they were polite, it caused a delay in getting the answers we needed. It also felt impersonal. Overall, thanks for an awesome stay! Loved it!
