Dog-Friendly Tucson Home w/ Patio & Hot Tub

A really comfortable house in a nice quiet area with good road access and local shopping malls , great house with all fixtures and fittings and hosts Karen and Wayne were very helpful would recommend

Safe neighborhood, great amenities

Tucson was a great place to visit. The weather, cycling, and outdoor activities can not be beat. We all know we take a risk booking on any site but use the ratings to help guide us. The property had very good ratings and the location was good. this is where the positives ended for us. First, the neighborhood. It was a complete letdown when we first pulled up. Homes were in disrepair, one even boarded up. It just appeared to be unsafee.The property was not like the pictures. the carpet leading to upstairs was absolutely filthy. The draperies in both the living and main bedroom may have never been cleaned. The living room sofa was so dirty we had to put a blanket over it to feel comfortable enough to sit on it. The dining chairs were also very dirty and looked to have have not been cleaned in quite some time. The bed covering and pillows had a foul smell as well. Replacing some of these basics should be mandatory.The complex did have a pool that we understood just got refilled because of vandalism. Although open to be used, it had one regular chair and one broken lounge chair. The bathrooms were unusable. not only extremely dirty, they too were in disrepair. we rented this for the month of February 2025 and we knew the rates would be high as the Gem show and Rodeo are in this same month. In addition, the fees added to the cost will make us think twice about renting through the site again. This is not a property i would recommend.

The best I can say is how comfortable and at-home we feel when we stay here. This is our second visit and we will come here again next time we need to be in Tucson. The location is perfect, close to everything. The neighborhood feels safe and comfortable. We especially enjoy the fenced backyard for our dog and the hot tub. The owners are easy to work with and provide everything we need, more than many rental homes do. We are seniors and did not use the upstairs but everything we needed was easily accessible downstairs.

Karen is a great host. The backyard is its own oasis. The home is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Overall wonderful stay at this house. At check-in, the host left her present engagement to welcome us to the home. She gave us a detailed tour of the property, went through any nuances in each room, and gave us helpful information about the surrounding area. This is in an HOA, so call ahead of time to make special arrangements with the host. We brought along a tow-behind trailer and had to get pre-approval to park it long term in the visitor space. The only thing that was 4 star was the neighborhood / location. We stayed for 3 weeks and there were two incidences of neighbors in the community who 1) had their car broken into and 2) their car was stolen. (She left her keys in the car and the car unlocked.) We did not experience any issues or personal items missing. We made sure to lock our car doors every night. If you park in the garage, this would be a non-issue for you. Wonderful stay in Tucson!! The hosts reached out to us weekly to make sure that everything was going well and if we needed restocked on anything.

Karen was extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Location was ideal for our family and the home was very comfortable. We would stay again without hesitation. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay here! The house had everything we needed, and felt more like a home away from home. It was clean, and stocked, and in the perfect location from all the wonderful Tucson attractions.
