The home was tidy and quaint. We loved the overall atmosphere. Every outlet was childproof, and the game table were a hit. We had a wood fire going much of the weekend. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of commission and we did have to plow our way in. It was a quiet neighborhood so I assume the HOA doesn’t get back to those cottages often. We have a plow company in central MD so we were prepared. Just a little insight to those who may not have trucks and 4WD!The lot was large and beautiful and because the roads were unkept, it made for great walking trails for the pups. Overall a wonderful experience!

Everything was exactly as described, and in many ways better. Great use of the space. The fireplace was awesome, the hot tub was perfect, and the space in the backyard was awesome for our kids to play in. Would highly recommend.

This was such a cozy, clean, and peaceful weekend getaway for our family of 3. We came for a weekend to ski and the house was a wonderful retreat from the bustle of Wisp. We prepped one dinner in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoyed the scenic, snowy view of the lake.

Like the title says, the house is an adorable, quaint waterfront cottage. The location of the neighborhood is great, it’s tucked back in a little lakefront community. It has a long, flat yard and great waterfront access. The house itself is amply stocked with dishes and cookware, everything you could possibly need. The first floor is spacious and nicely furnished. Now for the cons, the hottub has seen better days and not all jets are working. It desperately needs a new cover. The upstairs has very low ceilings especially in the kids’ room. You have to check in through the realty office and they weren’t the friendliest. We weren’t allowed to check in at 12:30 after paying an extra $75 for early check-in. Had to come back at 1. All in all it was a nice rental and would consider renting again in the future.

We stayed at this property for a long NYE weekend getaway. The house was perfect for my family which included a 3 and 5 year old as well as our two pugs.

The cottage was quaint and located on a quiet street. The view of the lake was lovely from the deck and hot tub. The house has not been fully cleaned in a long time. Mini blinds were full of dirt and the shelves had layers of dust on them. The upstairs bathroom has such a low ceiling that if you are over 5’3”, you cannot use the tub/shower. The doors to the upstairs bathroom do not close as well. The 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds is really designed for small children, not adults. The hot tub was filthy and the jets barely have any pressure. The light in the hot tub doesn’t work as well. The deck hasn’t been power washed in quite a while so it is sticky and gritty. The kitchen was quaint and has everything you may need. The downstairs bathroom has been nicely renovated, but it smells like sewer. We were disappointed by this rental property.

This little house was just perfect for our get away anniversary with our doggies! Loved the beautiful lake views and all of the knotty pine wood in the downstairs. The only negative comment I can make is you have to park across the road and it makes it kind of hard to load and unload your car with no driveway by the house. But it would not deter me from staying here again! Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us!!

We were lucky to stay at Willow Point during peak fall foliage. My husband and I brought our dog along on this trip and he had a great time. Pretty sure he was hoping we had moved in and lake life was his new reality! The house was clean, cozy and while kind of secluded, the house is well located to parks/restaurants etc. The kitchen was well stocked with essential dishes and cookware. Really nice access to the water and the hot tub was great too! The house must be super well insulated because even after turning off the heaters, the place stayed toasty. Would stay here again!
