We enjoyed the stoves, outside deck and beautiful scenary and privacy on the back porch. Unfortunately the sauna did not work and had gone out prior to us arriving per Vacasa manager. Also the toilet got plugged and was difficult to fix.
Great house Hot tub FULL of sand The photos marketed are of downtown Bend not Tumalo… pretty disappointed.
This property is located in walking distance to The Bite which has food trucks & there is coffee shops also. The house was clean, could use some updating and instructions on operating information. We enjoyed floating in front of the house, we had an anchor that we could tie into and just float. Everyone enjoyed the visit at the Otter Run House
We loved the beautiful riverfront deck. The property is in walking distance to a coffee shop and food trucks and a short drive into downtown Bend.
Arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Broken beach toys all over the sand. Hot tub was super cloudy and unbalanced. Sauna was not working. No paper towels in the kitchen or kitchen towels. Texted with Vacasa and the said the mgr works Thursday through Monday. They did drop off the next afternoon 1 roll of paper towels and 2 kitchen towels. When I made my bed Wednesday morning, I found a large crusty gross mass on my comforter. I texted again. They said there was another comforter in the dresser. I found it but no duvet cover for the down inner comforter I found. I went to wash it but there wasn't any laundry detergent, only bleach and an empty spray and wash. They delivered detergent. We were woken up by yard maintenance on Wednesday morning at 9 am. There was no note or notification that this would be happening. The gentleman then proceeded to blow around the house and all over our things on the deck. I texted again. We cleaned it up. In the main bathroom we couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower, only the spout for the tub. I called and was told theres a trick, she just didn't know it. My family of 5 adults all showered in the master bath. We would have to wait for the mgr to be back on duty. Brady the mgr called mid morning on Thurday and then came by. We were also out of garbage bags. They only supplied 2. He brought us a whole roll and showed me the trick for the shower. He also looked at the sauna and said he would have to contact the owner and we never heard back about.
The location and deck overlooking the river was wonderful. The house had no information for operation of anything, hot tub, sauna, gas firepit, etc. Shower controls were unusual and took some work to figure out. Beds were comfortable, one bedroom door was covered with stickers....and bedroom window screen missing. All in all the deck and river made it a great stay! Oh, and paper products were the worst quality I've ever seen.
The house is great. The back deck on the river is perfect. I appreciate places that can accommodate a group of adults (no bunk beds or pull outs or cots). The front yard/driveway, even though not really pictured on the site, is a really nice and well manicured private area. Even has a gate that can be closed. Only issue we had was that there was no communication or warning that there would be some sort of maintenance happening during our stay in the front yard on like a water line or something. And our group of women walking outside were startled by a group of men crouched behind our vehicles on this private property on a dead end street. It was a bit disconcerting. A heads up by the property management would have been greatly appreciated. Other than that, the property itself is fantastic and was the perfect place for our small girls trip.
Very unique, quite, close to nature.

I already sent our experience to Vacasa! Why do I have you and them as my booking reservation?
River view, hot tub, master bed were all amazing!!!
The pictures are not exactly it’s a little bit outdated but it was so pretty good
The outside area is what makes this property. The inside is fine but dated and signs of neglect. Fauces and showerheads are corroded, and we were only given one trash bag which filled up quickly. Kitchen utensils and pans have all seen better days. There were zero instructions for anything on the property in way of a binder and none offered on VRBO. How do you operate the sauna? How do you work the 3 different remotes for each TV, as they are all different in every room? I am a tech-savvy person and could never figure out how to watch a normal news channel in the morning. There's a remote for the toilet in the master which does not work. I emailed the owner and never had a reply back... nothing... If you're going to have a rental property, how about some helpful information on it.
