Dog-friendly retreat with gorgeous garden & setting - near the best of Seattle

This is our 2nd time staying in this property and we will return again. It’s a great space for our 11 year old and our dog. Our son, who lives in Seattle, spends a lot of time with us there. Love it!

Very nice. Only issue is that Google takes you to the wrong location.

This mid-century modern home is exceptionally peaceful and private. The grounds are beautifully designed and kept. You can sit outside many different spots - shade and sun, tables or recliner - and enjoy the trees and the garden. You feel like you are in a very private spot even though this is a busy neighborhood, because of the way the house is set back from the road and surrounded by trees and lovely hedges. Truly exceptional space outdoors, and a comfortable and thoughtfully appointed home as well. For us, having ramps at the back door was especially helpful as I was recovering from surgery while there. We had a totally wonderful experience at the Ranch!

The best part of the house is the extra large lot that is very pleasantly landscaped and immaculate. It affords incredible privacy.

We lived in Wedgwood and adore the neighborhood. This felt like we were back home (but nicer)! The lot is amazing and private. The house is well laid out. The furnishings are lovely. Our daughter especially love the pod chair! We look forward to our next stay.

The yard was awesome, clean, and well maintained. The home had lots of large windows and was generally aesthetically pleasing. The carpet seemed very old/worn and smelled somewhat which was surprising for the price of the home. There was a sign requesting shoes not be worn inside but when my wife walked around the house in white socks they got dirty so we felt better wearing slippers inside. The house seemed to have an “old” smell in general. The bed was extremely uncomfortable for my wife and I. Overall, was a good experience but for the price, I had higher expectations.

Lovely as always

We were so fortunate to find the ranch! It was close to where we wanted to be and such a beautiful property! We enjoyed a lot of outdoor time- coffee in the morning, cocktails in the evening. Gardens and grounds were beautiful- amazingly peaceful! This property must be very special to the owners! The beds were kind of hard and the carpet shampoo was overwhelming when we first walked in but cleared it out quickly and enjoyed our stay!

Booked the Ranch to help my brother convalesce after a surgery. It was a perfect quiet spot. The grounds are wonderful. Accomodations were great. The property manager was responsive on a few minor issues. Would stay here again!

A truly wonderful setting! Felt like we were in forest with such amazing green gardens and privacy. Yet very close to everything we wanted to see. Great accommodations and very clean. Will stay here again.

Great location neighborhood and beautiful property. Keep an eye out for the racoon family that travereses the yard every so often!!!!

We loved the comfort and style of the home. The secluded property allowing for wide open windows to view the manicured landscape made for a very country in the big city feel. Also the home was well equipped with everything needed down to a dog bed which was also loved by our beagle.

Large windows allow you to enjoy the garden from inside the unit. The weak points were the carpet and the low qualty beds. The kitchen and foyer have laminated flooring I would recommend this throughout the house.

This property is probably my favorite in my almost 20 year history of staying at VRBOs. It is clean and looks just like the photos. The actual grounds are huge and super private; it felt like we were in the middle of a forest or park yet in a great location in Seattle. Only thing of note is that like most places in Seattle, there is not air conditioning; we happened to arrive on a date where the temp was in the high 90s and broke the record by 6 degrees (so just very unlucky timing for us). Despite being a bit warm during the day, at night with windows open and fans it got plenty chilly, so it was not an issue. Also had one very minor drain issue that the response was immediate for, so know they take great care of the guests here. A very strong 5 stars!!!

This older house on Vicasa is a hidden gem, offering a serene escape with its expansive, beautifully maintained yard filled with mature trees. Perfect for a peaceful retreat or exploring the local area, this property exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved the grounds. The open areas to play after our busy trips into the city were great. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful stay.
