Easy check in, super cute, perfect area, awesome backyard and pool!!

This was a great place for my family to stay with our two dogs. They are large German shorthaired pointers and we’re allowed to stay at this house. There is a giant backyard for them to play in a beautiful swimming pool. The only thing negative I can say about this property is that the living room is rather small. The check-in and checkout process were very easy, and the benchmark partners were very communicative before and after my stay.

The screened in porch was a great spot to get out of the sun for a bit and I even set up my laptop to get some work done out there. The house had everything we needed for a great week! Can't wait to stay there again!

I had expected it to possibly have a pet odor since it is a pet friendly place. There was no pet odor at all and the place was spotless. The location was a big plus. The Carousel grocery store is behind the property. You can see the beach and beautiful green space behind this property’s fenced in yard. Thomas Donuts is in walking distance which we enjoyed on a couple of occasions. The pool was perfect for the whole family especially for the grandkids. We all enjoyed the open space of the backyard where kids had fun running around and playing. We felt like we had our own private space. The gas grill was a wonderful convenience the first night we arrived for grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. We will consider staying at this place again for another family beach vacation.

This house is amazing!! We loved our stay at Leo's Hideaway. The pool is awesome, with very nice chairs and pool toys, and the yard is huge with a great fire pit and chairs. The beach is so close to the house, and the road you cross to get to the beach was easy to cross. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with clear water and white sand, and we didn't find it to be too busy as it is located a good distance away from all the big hotels. The location is great, being steps to the beach, donut shop, and small grocery store and liquor store which both had surprisingly good prices. We loved so many things about this house, other than the fantastic location. The grill was very large and had 2 propane tanks. The screened in porch was such a nice area to sit and have dinner. The beds were super comfy, and the bunkbeds were great for the kids. The house was equipped with SO MANY towels, and had a good variety of kitchen items. The beach cart, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs were great quality and in excellent condition. We did have an issue with the dryer, but the property management team responded to us right away, and sent someone out to fix it within a couple of hours. We loved our stay at Leo's Hideaway, and would definitely return in the future. What a fantastic property!

Just know the bathrooms are small. One is so small you can barely move in it. We had issues with having hot water and thought it was resolved but it would still come and go. Which is annoying. Two chairs by the fire pit were broken and one by the pool was too. There were plenty of chairs to use to take to the beach, but there were a lot of junky chairs and rusty wagons that just need to be removed from the back yard. The pool was the perfect size and just lovely. Overall we had a great trip minus the hot water issue which was attempted to be fixed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visited at the end of April with my family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 young kids age 2 and 4). What a nice little escape. Right across the street from the beach, a nice heated pool and huge backyard, also set far back from the road which was really nice. We liked the location a lot because it wasn’t far from Panama City and just a short drive to places like Rosemary beach and seaside. The beds were comfortable. Our favorite area was the back porch. Enjoyed eating our meals back there. The pool was nice, it has a little shelf for sitting in the water and for little ones to play without being too deep. The common area was small for our family of 6, just a small kitchen/family room combo, so we didn’t spend a ton of time in the house hanging out. Also just a heads up, the fire alarm is in the kitchen, so if you create any smoke (think bacon or burgers or even sauteeing veggies), it’ll get set off. We would just flap a towel under the alarm and it would stop chiming; also cooking with the door open helped too. Just some house quirks. Nothing that would prevent us from returning. Overall, had a lovely stay and would return again when in the area next.
