The home is beautiful, roomy and well appointed! The location is perfect too!
Absolutely beautiful view of the lake
This property was perfect for our multi generational weekend.
Bishops retreat offers a large rental home that has very nice and amenities, luxury kitchen and baths, and, picturesque relaxing areas both inside and out. Very clean and well appointed vacation residence. Feels like you are enjoying a vacation in your “own” lakeside vacation lodge….and, in fact you are!!!
Wonderful views and location. Had literally everything you could possibly need.
Plenty of space with great amenities.
We loved our stay, well appointed, lots of space, great amenities like a firepit and kayaks. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bishop’s Retreat, on Lake Junaluska. The listing doesn’t do the location justice. It is located right on the lake. You can walk, fish, kayak, and enjoy wildlife steps away from the front door. The house was family friendly and had everything we needed, including a canoe, paddle boards, and kayaks. The house was clean and full of neat outdoor themed decor. There’s a TON of space and it’s really cozy. We will definitely be back next year! The stove wasn’t working, but they did include hot plates to cook on. This was just a minor inconvenience.
Loved our Third stay at Bishop’s Retreat. Comfortable Home with all you need to accommodate a big Family. Nothing can match sitting on the porch taking in the views and sounds of Lake Junaluska. The best house on the lake!
Beautiful home. There were 13 of us! 3 were 90 years plus! Great home for 3 generations to stay in. It had everything we needed. The view is worth a million dollars. A well cared for home.
No one told us the lake would be drained. So paying a premium to be on the water then arrive to a smelly, muddy dry mess was very disappointing. I wish so much someone would have let me know that was going to be the case. I would not have rented the property.
Very nice house views of the lake and mountains
A wonderful way to bring family together to celebrate and make memories.
A beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake and the mountains. Very well stocked kitchen; lovely bedrooms; large open area for kitchen, dining and living rooms. The window seat in the living room was my favorite spot! Will definitely return here.
This house accommodated our family perfectly. It has the perfect location and it’s beautiful inside also. Our children took advantage of the pier, that’s 50 yards below, and used a couple of kayaks and the canoe. The place was very clean and there were plenty of towels. I only hope we can rent it again!
Great place to un wind and relax. Plenty to do if you want to walk the lake, canoe, play tennis or put put. Dog friendly and wonderful people. Also, nice restaurants near by. We highly recommend it and will be going back after Thanksgiving!
