Great place just did not have access to freezer it was locked and management did not know how to unlock
House was fantastic! Working with the management company vacasa was disappointing. The local manager was great but it took main head quarters 24 hrs to message him. We didnāt have the proper code to get in or out of our rental.
Everything was great and better than expected.
The house was nice. It was on a nice quite finger off Lake June. The house is partially updated. We had problems the first night of our stay with the two downstairs showers not working properly. These appeared to be very old original bathrooms. The bathroom in the bunkhouse room, all the hot water went out the floor discharge, and all the cold out of the showerhead. I have never seen a shower fixture like this before. The valve on teat bottom discharge would not close. The second downstairs shower would not fully bypass the tub spicket. Half of the water continued to flow out of that spicket, and minimal water pressure went to the showerhead rendering it useless. This was a big issue as the family member staying in that bedroom was mobility impaired and could not navigate the stairs to shower upstairs. The main TV downstairs would not change channels, this was an issue on our inclement weather day, in addition, the TV in the downstairs master would not work either. I was sure the TV issues would be a simple fix, so I contacted Vacasa the property management company the next day. I spent the rest of our vacation (4 days) trying to get a response from anyone, and someone to come out and address these issues. I called them multiple times each day. I also used their online SMS chat option. I have a running chat with multiple responses all saying they will forward our issues to the local team. That never happened. Twice they told me on one of the phone calls that a local property manager was on the way over. No one ever showed up. Nobody from Vacasa ever contacted us to follow up on our issues. While we were trying to check out, half the family thought check out was at 11 A.M., and the other half thought it was a 10 A.M check out. This was due to the checkout email having both times as a check out time. I called to clarify letting them know we were not sure we would make the 10 A.M checkout, but we would be out by 11. The two people I spoke with just said, āCheckout is at 10 A.M.ā I made them read their email that was sent to us, and they saw for themselves both times were listed on the email. Neither customer service representative acknowledged that it was an issue created by Vacasa, and told us we had to be out by 10 A.M. or we would be charged a late out fee. On our way home, I called again and asked about a partial refund for our stay,
It was wonderful to celebrate with my family. By renting the house next door, we were able to accommodate more out of state visitors. Having a beach made it easy for us to pull our jetski up for all to enjoy.
The home is very large. We were able to truly relax and enjoy ourselves. We brought our boats and it was very nice to go out onto the deck and just jump on the lake any time we wanted. The kids loved the beach and if they were not on the boat they were on the beach playing. As for the home itself, the property managers need to look at the safety factors of the home. Second floor balcony railing needs attention, very wobbly. Refrigerators were not working not cold and the washing machine was down. Second floor carpet is pulling away and exposing the Nails at the door entrances.. As a renter we love the place, as past super host of rentals other things could be added to the home. For three day weekend there was not enough dishwasher soap, there were no hand towels or washcloths in the kitchen, there is no tinfoil baggies or paper plates and cups, there was no coffee and supplies. I understand this may not be provided by property managers but homeowners should be aware this is a major perk for someone coming in from out of town. Overall we had a great time and would love to stay again but I would check into the safety issues first to be sure they were fixed.
Very nice and accommodating the only issue was our dryer did not work
The pictures are not doing good justice for this house ! This house is amazing very big, the layout of the rooms are good , big kitchen, the beach and on the lake is great for kids .
Family of 13 stayed and had a wonderful time. The house is awesome. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out or come together. The kitchen was huge and fully equipped and a traditional coffee pot and a keurig are both available. Everyone loved the pool table and the game table. We played a lot of cards. The back porch had an amazing view and tons of seating. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and porch swing out front. The beach area and dock were fabulous with lounge chairs and a popular hammock. ;) We rented a pontoon from Lake June Pontoons and they brought it right to the dock!!! The downtown area was nice and we enjoyed finding the murals but none of the shops were open on Sunday. Sugar Sand Distillery and Henscratch Farms were a short distance away and a nice diversion. We also ate at Jaxson's just 5 minutes away. Good stuff. But just relaxing at the house was the biggest benefit of our trip. Loved it. I would suggest updating the photos as some of the furniture has changed and note that there were no curtains or blinds on the front window where the card/game table was or in the family room where the entire back wall was french doors and windows. This did cause some concern for one of our folks after dark. Also of note are the bathroom fixtures downstairs. They are dated however functional. The bathroom in the front bedroom was usable but needs a plumber to fix the flow rate and faucet as the water continued to spray out even when the shower was engaged. Not ideal. Plenty of towels and soap, shampoo, etc. Overall we loved our time here and would definitely stay again in spite of any negatives I have mentioned here.
