Dog-friendly home with private saltwater pool, hot tub, game room, & fireplace

Walked into a home that wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests but the property manager responded quickly to my call and sent a team over to clean the house. Still some minor cleanliness issues/ stains but overall a nice home!

The house exceeded initial expectations and fit our crew perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised at recent updates not shown in listing images (appliances, sofa/chairs, flooring), the beautiful sunsets from the front deck, & comfortable, clean beds. There was a provided charcoal grill & corn hole boards also not notated in listing but nice perk! Spacious pool, pool deck & hot tub. Nice outdoor shower, as well! The home was clean but could’ve used a good floor cleaning, new shower liners, & better attention to dog hair. Otherwise, no complaints! A couple things to note: the beach is an extended 9 minute walk. While it was fine for our group, it definitely can be far for some. Many exterior doors had trouble shutting/latching/locking. There is also several wasp nests (2 from our group got stung) that need to be attended to. With all of this said, we did have a GREAT vacation and will be back!!

The house itself was very nice, tons of space and the pool was nice. A lot further from the beach than we anticipated.

Great home!

As soon as we walked in, there was a giant dead cockroach sitting on the floor. We walk in and within a few minutes my wife found another. We contacted Vacasa and they said they would send someone out, and we never heard from them again. There were tears in the carpet with some of the nail boards showing and just a bunch of little issues like that.The listing stated “pool will be open from April-mid October” which most people take as all of April and some of October, we get there and the pool is not open and the listing changed to “April 26- mid October.”We also understand it’s a dog friendly place but there was dog hair floating all over the house.The location was great, and plenty of bed/rooms, just a little disappointed in cleanliness and upkeep.

Great house with ocean and sound view's. The kids loved the pool. Us adults enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Its a bit of a walk to the beach. We drove down further for a more flat entrance to the beach as us old people wear out fast.....knees, hips...ect Would recommend

This house truly was filthy. Dirt and grime were thick on surfaces. Floors were unswept and covered in dog hair. Mold on shower curtains. Carpet was torn up with sharp plastic pieces sticking up and i stepped on it and had to dig the plastic out of my foot with a knife. The air vents and filters were choked with dust. Poorly stocked. Ice machine broken. Tub didn’t drain. I could go on. It’s a shame because the house could have been nice if maintained properly and CLEANED for Pete’s sake. The beach is very nice and there’s a great mart close by and some nice eateries, so the location is nice but not this place

We loved the house and the pool and hot tub. We had 8 adults. The house was comfortable for everyone. Pool and hot tub were a big hit. Close enough to the beach. Would rent again.
