Dog-friendly home with private outdoor pool, hot tub, foosball table & game room

Property was just as advertised clean when first arriving stores and beach all convenient within the location love the pool and hot tub and entertainment of games on the first floor. Will definitely try to come back again. Thank you.

The home was just what we were looking for on our family vacation and we had a great time! The only three minor issues was the outside staircase lighting, as it was not working and it was very hard to see which could’ve been a trip/fall hazard, the tv screen in the king bedroom was broken, and it was hard to find the home at night (it would be nice to have a sign on the road with an arrow and the house number on it). When I contacted Vacasa, the team submitted a ticket and said it would get taken care of. It was very easy & effortless to communicate with them. Other than that we loved staying at ‘Game on’! It was a short walk to the beach, the pool & hot tub were great, there were tons of fun family games, more than enough space, we found lots of seashells, and we were excited that each room had its own bathroom as the listing made it seem like 2 of the bedrooms had to share one; so we were pleasantly surprised! I would definitely recommend this place, it was just what we needed for our 5 day family vacation.

As others had mentioned, the house wasn’t pristine (stained carpet, missing blinds and screens), but that was perfect for our group given the price. Super close walk to beach access and the basement game area was awesome for the young and young at heart. Roku TVs were easy to navigate as was the internet. The pool (and attendant who we met briefly) were awesome. If you are bringing your dog, make sure they are up on a good quality flea medication. The front yard had a lot of fleas that the humans were able to manage with bug spray.

The house was lived in. Needs updated but its a beach home. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Huge pool. Dog friendly home. Did carpet have stains, yes. Didnt bother us. Cabinets need updated, yes but they worked. Beds were hard and pillows were cheap. Yes but when ur tired who cares. Overall trip amazingBagain

Very nice house. Lots of space to move around.The dishwasher was broken before we got there. not to happy about that but it happens. It was replaced on Friday before we checked out. Love the area. Pool was the best...

We had a great time in the OBX but will not be renting this property again home needs much TLC and is just a bit run down, lacking basic maintenance. It could use a deep cleaning and new carpet. There are no cleaning products available in the home to clean up ourselves if we wanted to clean the floors. Sinks and tub/showers were clean and usable.

The house and pool was great except for a few things..... needs new blinds(broken) or can't shut them and carpet needs to have a good cleaning. We had blonde dog hair all in our bedroom. The dishwasher could be replaced, didn't clean so well. But, besides those things, we had awesome week with family. Overlooked the important but, unimportant stuff. Just letting you know, a few things would help.

First lets start with the company that maintains the pool & hot tub. They did a fantastic job. We didn't have any issues with either and the pool & hot tub served us with excellence. To the on-site Vacasa employees who addressed maintenance issues. Super friendly & professional. Very helpful & ready to lend a hand. We appreciate you very much. To the Vacasa team on the phones. I don't like being lied to. The language barrier is a challenge and when I politely asked to be transfered to someone in the United States, I was told that it wasn't possible. To the homeowner. Sir or maam. Please spend some money on this house. The beds are awful. Even in previous reviews, it's mentioned how uncomfortable the beds are. Shame on Vacasa for saying (over the phone) that they had been addressed - they have not. The appliances in your house are dated. It's time to freshen them up with something more modern. New carpet would be great, or since you're kind enough to be pet friendly - remove the stained carpet. Finally - let's talk aobut the pillows. My dog loves to sleep on the pillow next to me. The pillows in this house are so uncomfortable that even the dog slept elsewhere on the bed. I'm convinced these pillows were discounted purchased from TeMu. This house has amazing potential. Unfortunately, the issues overshadowed an otherwise beautiful home. If you want my advice - rent another home. At least until this one has been updated (especially the beds and pillows). The appliances are worked, but they need replacing too. If you choose to stay here - you cannot see the sound or ocean from this house. There are a lot of stairs - nothing about this house is ADA compliant. It's a pretty house, the games are a great touch, it's pet friendly (huge bonus), and there is easily room for 8 people to be very comfortable. Heads- up - when they say eight people - that's how many towels & wash cloths you get. No extras for the pool. Plan on washing towels often. Have a great vacation. Despite the issues with the house - we had an amazing time. We love the OBX.

The house has the basic necessities and loved having the option for a hot tub and pool. Having separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms was AMAZING, the beds are super hard though.
