Tucked into a quiet, residential neighborhood, yet near all the area’s attractions, you’ve found the perfect all-season home base for your next Sandpoint vacation. This charming home is set across the street from the Sandpoint-Dover Community Trail Trailhead, which goes into downtown Sandpoint, three miles away. You’ll be within walking or biking distance to the Dover Bay Marina, where you can rent a boat to explore Lake Pend Oreille or launch kayaks at the East corner. Plus, Schweitzer Mountain sits 15 miles north, offering skiing in the winter and a zip-line, trampoline, and climbing wall in the summer.
At the home itself, you’ll find just as many fun activities to keep you from venturing too far. Relax on one of the chaises in the large, enclosed yard while the kids and family dog play, or have a soak in the hot tub, enjoying mountain views over the fence. There's even a basketball hoop in the driveway for some friendly competition. Dinner prep is a breeze with two gas grills, and everyone can dine alfresco at the patio table. The game room/shop features both foosball and ping-pong tables, perfect for a friendly family challenge.
Inside, you’ll find a large, open living space featuring new furniture, hardwood floors, and lots of space to spread out. Play a game of pool or stream the latest release in the living room and prepare delicious meals in the full, well-equipped kitchen, then dine together at the natural-edge table for eight. Don’t feel like cooking No problem - walk over to Dish at Dover Bay Marina for dinner. Downtown Sandpoint has lots more restaurants, bars, and cafés as well. When bedtime calls, three well-appointed rooms await - just don’t call it a night without one more soak in that hot tub, this time enjoying the café lights and night sky.

Very nice, clean and comfortable.
If your kids are young or old. This is a great place to stay. There is plenty of stuff to do in the home to keep them entertained if you’re trying to relax at the house. It is also a great location. You can get away from the heavy tourist area when you want to. .
Very clean and comfortable home. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay. Great house. Our kids love it. Seems close to everything and just far enough away from the bustle to relax.
This was such an amazing home! Great location, perfect layout and close to town, but felt private. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, however did not have salt/pepper, etc. Most rentals do, so we didn't bring our own. Like I said, it was close enough to town that it wasn't a huge deal. Would definitely stay here again!
Everything as promised.
This property was amazing: hot tub, pool table, ping pong, foosball, horseshoes, basketball court. Tons of space, comfortable beds, super clean, great kitchen. 30 minutes from Schweitzer, less than that to the lake. 10 minute drive to great restaurants. Staying here again is a no brainer.
Such a wonderful loving home to stay at. Very comfortable beds. Love the runners for dogs that have surface issues! Had fun in the garage playing with the kids. Will definitely stay again!
Loved the spa, pool table, space...everything~! Would love to come back in the summer and play some ping pong :)
We really liked parking in the garage with our gear still on the rack and the hot tub was fabulous after skiing. The house was perfect for our group of six and we enjoyed meals at the table and relaxing while taking turns at the pool table. We will be back!

I will rent this house again and again. It’s private, great location and something for everyone. The hot tub was relaxing, the pool table was entertaining and the kitchen was 5star. Can’t wait to rent it in the summer and use the bbq and horse shoe pits!!! Thank you!!
In over 10 years of renting vacation homes, this one is one of my favorites. Very inviting and relaxing, and has something to keep everyone busy.
We absolutely loved the home!! Great layout that was perfect for having the family we came to visit over for dinners. Wheelchair bound MIL could get in and out to watch the grandkids wherever they were playing. Comfy beds, nice grill, fun games and the ability to login to our streaming accounts made it like a second home for the week. WiFi supported us both working in the mornings with video calls and all. We will be back!!
The house is great and nicely appointed. Lots for the kids to do and a great fenced yard for the dog. Within 10 minutes of everything, it is a great place to set up base for an amazing vacation.
We absolutely loved our stay in Dover! The house sits on the corner of a short side road across the street from only one other building (a real-estate office) which made it a perfect private area to hang out in the garage while we all played foosball, ping-pong, basketball and rode bikes on the side road. There is even a comfy couch in the garage making it perfect for relaxed family time. The pool table was indoor fun and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. We also took several family bike rides (we brought our own bikes) to Dover Bay for a quick dip in the water. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows we also comfortable which made for nights of restful sleep! This was a much needed getaway for our family and we are looking forward to coming back soon!
What a beautiful and fun place. We loved that there is so much to do! The pool table and game room were a total hit with the family and the jacuzzi was a perfect ending to the evening. We loved that the bike trails and beach and restaurants are so close, within 5 minutes! We felt very much at ease here. And we are sticklers about cleanliness and had no complaints, it was very clean. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun weekend away in a beautiful little town. We will be back!
What a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and modern interior despite the age of the house, very comfortable beds, great air conditioning, fenced yard for our 2 mini-Schnauzers, well designed and stocked kitchen, and a 5 minute drive into Sandpoint. We stayed with our 2 adult children and their spouses and we were all impressed with this house. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
This home was located in a quiet community about 5 mins from downtown Sandpoint. The house had pretty much everything my family needed. Every morning I’d walk 300 feet to buy a mocha and some scones from the little espresso stand across the street. The two queen beds were comfy, the twin beds were just okay. I’m a neat freak in the kitchen so I would’ve liked at least one option for counter cleaning, but cleaning supplies were noticeably missing. After a day of play the hot tub and couches were perfect for relaxing. We hot tubbed before sunset to avoid mosquitoes. The couches are motorized recliners. The bathrooms are great. The water pressure is a little low. The hot water tank is undersized so stagger showers if you have long shower people. The internet was fiber fed at 600+ Mbps. Dover has a huge out of town presence with a developed resort style community stretching all the way to the water. Get your boat reservation in early as impromptu action will leave you high and dry.
