The best part about this house is definitely the location, you can’t beat how close it is to Glaze Meadow Pool/Sportshop. The kitchen and dining room were nicely updated along with the bathrooms. But, the details left a lot to be desired. We found broken screens, a serious collection of dust rabbits behind headboards and under furniture, leftover Fruit Loops in the corner by a lamp, and one lamp that didn’t work. The rug liners were peeking out (and dirty), and it was obvious the place hadn’t been deep-cleaned in months. Some of the new windows even popped open toward me when I tried to use them, definitely not a confidence booster. The couches deserve their own mention: not uncomfortable enough to complain about, but not comfortable enough to actually relax on. Honestly, this would be the perfect rental for a corporate trip where no one should get too cozy binging their favorite show or falling asleep mid-conversation. Bottom line: great location at Black Butte, but the lack of attention to detail made it hard to fully enjoy. If I wanted to stay in a dirty house, I could have stayed home.

You truly can’t beat the location of this home—it’s directly across the street from the Glaze Meadow Pool, making it an ideal spot for easy access and relaxation. The house itself is beautifully updated, with a sleek modern kitchen and stylish bathrooms that feel fresh and well-maintained.While the home does have quite a few stairs, this is clearly shown in the photos and description, so it wasn’t a surprise. The kitchen, while compact in size, was very functional. I didn’t notice the large, empty pantry until the end of our stay—plenty of space for storing food if you’re cooking in!The outdoor spaces were a highlight—perfect for enjoying the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Given the height of the home, I was surprised there were only two bedrooms. With the loft, we comfortably fit six guests, though sleeping eight might feel a bit tight.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. A great home in a fantastic location!

It was very dated. Beds were uncomfortable and there were 4 flights of stairs. Kitchen was good. Not a great option with very little kids but was fine for what we needed.

We have stayed here before and love the home. Though the photos are nice, the home is lovelier in person. Rooms are nicely arranged and home is thoughtfully stocked. Elevation of the house makes for pretty view of the neighborhood and privacy. The location with the proximity to the glaze meadow rec center cannot be beat: rarely do you get such a central location paired with quiet.

Apprecaited the location within walking distance to the resort pool. AC was limited to the living room space, not in bedrooms. Lacking basic appliances like coffee grinder, ice machine in the refrigerator was broken. Wifi was solid.

The house is very pleasant, well decorated and beautiful wood decor. However there were a few issues. We arrived at 4pm and the door was unlocked and several lights were on. It made us wonder whether we had the right house. Next, we found that both kitchen garbages had not been emptied. We found a trash can in the dark garage, but had to tote two heavy bags of garbage down a flight and half of stairs. That evening for dinner we planned to grill a steak on the BBQ grill, but both propane tanks were empty. Because of these issues we can not rate the house a 5 star.

We loved this location. Drive to hikes, walk to pool/tennis courts and bike everywhere! We are an active family of 3. This home is a great 3 story design but if you have problems with stairs, it might not be for you. Bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled and water pressure was great. We also loved grilling on the deck. We will definitely book again!
