Dog-friendly home near Lake Michigan with patio & firepit

Great location to downtown shopping. Very clean

Smelly house, we did not bring a dog but they still charged us the daily fee.. asked for a refund but no luck..

This is not my first time renting. By far this was the worse place. We selected this rental as we were a family of 6. The plan was to make meals. The kitchen was poorly equipped and what we found to use was so filthy we had to wash it before using some items were so gross that we couldn’t use. No dish cloths and only able to run the dishwasher once as we had one soap pod. Both toilets did not flush well and if staying there I recommend wearing shoes at all time the carpets were gross. Certainly felt I my money and our comfort was taken advantage by this rental.

The property was nice. The house was plenty big enough for six people. It was close proximity to the beach and all the little shops ( not golf cart, close) . However, the back screen came off almost every single time we went into the back yard. Additionally, in the primary en suite, the floor that they put in did not meet the doorway, it was cut too short and jagged. The bedroom carpets need cleaned as well. The rest of the house was clean. We did enjoy the patio in the backyard and the grill.

House was in total disrepair, smelled and dirty. Peeling wallpaper, blinds falling down, doorknob came off. Doors difficult to lock and unlock to come and go.

Property has been let go since we stayed here a year ago. Nothing done to landscaping. Screen door on back door is falling off. Floor in master bathroom isn’t finished. Food in the couch and under the table. We lost power so we had no a/c. Overall it was okay but expected the house to be a little nicer.

Starting off with appreciation for allowing dogs when it is clear some have allowed disrespect to their carpet. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well, beds were clean and comfortable(one firm, one soft, one medium). The picture window was wonderful withthe changing leaves. It looks like they might be starting to remodel but if this stays in my price range I would.definitely come back again.

The house is big with big rooms. Nice new refrigerator. Clean kitchen. The bathrooms were clean, nice towels. The bathroom in the primary has an unfinished floor, the toilet kept running and there is not a real door. The door for the main bathroom is tricky, got locked in, don't recommend closing it all the way. The carpeting throughout the house needs deep cleaning, numerous stains in every room. Big windows haven't been washed in a very long time. Called the 800 number to see if someone could fix the toilet, had a really difficult time understanding the women on the other end. Wish there was someone locally we could have talked to. They did send someone to repair it while we were away, but it went out again. Had a lot of trouble getting the main door to lock. Pretty sure we will never use Vrbo or Vacasa in the future..

We hadva wonderful stay

I was very upset that no one informed us of a HUGE security concern… the back patio door didn’t lock. The carpet was filthy, but looked like they planned on replacing it with lvt. The lock on the back patio door was broken/ not functioning. The staff claimed they didn’t know this but tried to reassure us because there was a “secondary wooden rod” to help “secure” the door. If they didn’t know the door lock was broken… does that mean Vacasa doesn’t require staff to ensure all the exterior doors LOCK… BEFORE allowing guests to stay? Additionally, the master bed is NOT a queen.. so false advertising there. And the bed was extremely stiff. The neighbors make you uncomfortable by staring at you anytime you’re outside and the next door neighbor literally has a sign that says “neighborhoods need more neighbors”… other than that the house was okay for the purpose we needed it for. But definitely overpaid for the quality/ overall very dated state of the home.

This home was perfect for our weekend getaway to South Haven! Things I loved: - Smart TV with ability to login to streaming services - Very clean upon arrival - Very close to the beach and Kid's Corner playground (3ish minute drive) - Ability to do do laundry while on site (I brought my own tide pods) - Kitchen with pots, pans, baking sheets, coffee pot, toaster - Cooler in case of a beach trip - The ability to grill and eat outside - 2 dog food bowls and 2 water bowls! - Very comfy couch that fit all 5 of us - Space for the kids to run around in the backyard Things I'd bring next time and/or reccomend the host provide: - My own plates and cups for small kids/toddlers - Salt and pepper for cooking (would also reccomend host stock) - there were some spices, but no salt. - Extra kitchen trash bags - Lighter or matches - Beach towels

I was glad to park in a garage to avoid the acorns and walnuts falling on my vehicle. Overall it’s a very nice house. Nice outdoor patio. Our dog loved watching the squirrels!

We stayed here for a wedding in Oct 2023 and had a great time! Location was perfect for us and check-in and check-out were easy and we had no issues at all during our stay.

Tons of space. Great living room and kitchen. WiFi was strong! House was clean. Needs some new blinds in part of house. One room with a King bed would also be good.

Such a large home, pictures don’t do it justice. Comfortable and very clean! We loved our stay and so did our little miniature dachshund who loved running around the house. ? We hope to stay again next year!

House was very clean. You can see that when built, it was built with quality and has been loved and cared for. Very comfortable (minus one mattress) and met all of our needs. Nice neighborhood. 3 min drive to downtown and beach. Very charming overall.

The house was really clean has lots space and it's a really peaceful place and very close to town. Staff are great and quick to communicate with for any questions
