Dockside Dream: Luxury canal front home, dock, pool, spa and more!

Smooth check-in process and lovely accommodations! Hosts were very accessible as well!

After finding out this home flooded during the hurricane, it became very apparent why so many parts of the house were broken and unfinished. Luckily, Wes was able to come fix a few issues very quickly. For the price of this home, there should not be as many issues as there are. A few issues we encountered:Elevator malfunctioning A very large crack in main sliding doorFloor wood panels missing from the stairsDoor knobs falling offSprinklers out of the ground Pool and hot tub barely becoming warm Many light fixtures do not work We still enjoyed our time, but these items should all be disclosed in the listing.

Everything was great! Caught a few fish off the dock, and saw some manatees. Only thing was the gas was out on the grill… Sadly, while we were staying there, we heard it was purchased. Then one day the Demo guy came by to assess what he was tearing down. We would have loved to make this a recurrent place to vacation at.

I surprised my husband for his birthday with a trip to anna maria island and the trip did not disappoint! I had his family fly down from NY so overall there were 9 adults and my 5 month old baby. The house is in an amazing location and we were able to rent a golf cart and get around to the beach, shops and restaurants with ease. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook and there were even a couple beach chairs and a fishing pole to use. The pool and being on the canal were definitely perks of the house and we were outside enjoying these amenities everyday. Just a few things the house could improve on are updating some of the decor (the area rugs were coming up and a couple of us almost tripped multiple times on them), the refrigerator door was broken and would slam open every time we opened it (a big inconvenience with a sleeping baby), and although the kitchen was stocked with appliances, there was absolutely no extra condiments / non perishables available upon arrival (I’ve been to multiple rentals that have left over or extra toilet paper / paper towels/ dish soap / ketchup / etc. ). Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this rental to others!

This is a great location and place to stay. We had six women and we could all have our own space if we wanted. Loved the pool and the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

This property is incredible, clean, and well equipped. The location is awesome, close to small shops and restaurants, a few blocks from the beach and it is located in front of a canal that gives access to the ocean (you can bring your boat). Our kids enjoyed fishing from the dock in the back of the house. We will come back.

It was easy to rent and check in. Great communication with realtor. Clean, but needs tweaking. Trim needs paint as it looks dirty but did not wipe clean so is more stained, than dirty. Hardwood floors were clean but appear dirty due to wear. They just need to be redone or covered with vinyl to protect them. Back deck was wonderful, but needs to be washed. Kids loved the pool! Overall, I would recommend! Very cute!!! Covered parking. Quiet!

We absolutely loved Plumfish! The home is clean & spacious, in a wonderful location 1/2 way between both sides of the key. The covered porch is a great place to gather for morning coffee or to share a meal gathered at the outdoor table. The dock was the perfect spot to watch the sunset, and the pool was clean and warm. We had the best trip, and we're grateful for our time together shared in this beautiful space. The only other amenities we really would have appreciated were bikes and beach chairs, but we were able to rent them elsewhere. P.S. A note to future guests, there are no kitchen extras (only dishes and utensils). If you plan to cook a lot, or need storage containers, saran wrap, foil etc, plan to bring them along or purchase them. Also no coffee is provided (the only thing in kitchen cupboards other than dishes was coffee filters). For paper products the owners provide one roll of paper towel and one roll of TP (in each bathroom). So plan to purchase more.

Will definitely plan a vacation here again.
