Wonderful property on the beach with beautiful views! Everything was sparkling clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our large group.

We loved the house and the location. The stove didn’t work however. The property management was so rude we would never rent from them again. We were given wrong check in address and code so checked in only to have someone else show up We panicked and called better beach to sort out and were treated like we had done something wrong. Love the house overall but won’t rent through this company again. We thought we were renting from the owners and there are some differences between renting from the owners and renting from this company. Check out was 10 am and they don’t let u know until the day of if u can check in at 4/00. Could be as late as 6:00.

This beach house was perfect for our family and friends getaway! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of linens for each room. The kitchen and family room had plenty of seating for our family to enjoy meals, playing games, and hanging out together. The location was great, just a few steps to the beach! The elevator was a huge help for the person in our group with a broken foot. I highly recommend this home!

House was very nice and very accommodating to our needs. The views from the living room and dining room were beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. There was a little issue with the AC on the second floor. A very nice day.

Communication prior to our stay was a little frustratingly slow at times, I had a few questions and reached out through VRBO and it took a while to get a response, though we did eventually get responses. The house was great, as expected. The pool heater was not working when we arrived, but I called and they sent someone very promptly and got it fixed. The Wifi was also not working when we first arrived, but that was resolved quickly as well. The living/common space was a little smaller than we hoped, but it was good enough for a fairly large party (10 adults, 7 children) to enjoy (the 2 diningroom tables was so great - it was one of the key reasons we booked this house over alternatives). We did also let them know that the dryer was not working as expected - it would never stop if you put on the self-dry cycle - we accidentally ran a dryer load for like 10 hours overnight not realizing it would run continuously - yikes. Hopefully this gets resolved prior to another renter - as this is a fire risk. So - although things were fixed, it was probably more repair issues than you'd expect at your beach rental. The dining needs (plates, cups, silverware) left a little to be desired - we needed plastic silverware to have enough. Though, there did seem to be pretty good coverage for cooking (pots, pans, knives, cutting board, etc). We were also fairly unimpressed with the quality of the sheets/towels - pretty cheap/worn fabric - but not bad enough that it was a serious issue - just...would have been nice to have nicer stuff. The pool was great! Its a little small but was perfect for our group with lots of little kids. The heater was great, spending lots of time in there in November. The lounge area around the pool is very small - but this was something we really appreciated with lots of little kids, it was easy to bar access for to put everyone's mind at ease. There is a gate around the pool with a high latch to open it, we spent a lot of time in there! (it was a little expensive for this add on- being about $100/day, so not sure it was worth it, but we definitely enjoyed it. Lots of parking, Publix is 1 mile away, beach was excellent - overall it was a great stay!

Overall good experience. There are some small roaches around the property. The fridge and the pool were malfunctioning during our stay but the rental property came and fixed those in a timely manner. Great deck!!!!

This county of NC has toxic water levels in the water system. When I learned of the water problem, I contacted the host to ask if the house had a water filtration system. I asked two times in writing, and the host never got back to me with the answer. (Btw, there is no water filter on the house!). We were given the wrong address for the house in our arrival instructions. We contacted the rental company and they gave us the correct address, however, informed us that we couldn’t occupy the house until after 6 PM because it was still being cleaned (btw, it's in the agreement that they can go as late as 6 PM to check-in). The home was extremely disappointing. There was black mold above the sliding doors in the kitchen, the windows were filthy and dirty, and the pool was full of sand (it cost $$ if you want it cleaned). There was frozen and melted ice in the bottom of the freezer, and the frying pans and cooking sheets were unusable. Remotes all needed batteries, no instructions for operating TVs. The floors also hadn’t been mopped in a long time. (All of us running around the house barefoot the first night had black feet, gross!) I don’t know who owns the house (if it is a private owner or owned by an investment company), but please occupy your own rental property once in a while and you’ll see all the problems you need to fix. And if you care about the health of your patrons, put in a water filtration system for the house, and get rid of the black mold!

Let me start off by saying the house is as pictured, great location & easy check in/out process. We even had brand new living room furniture, rugs and lamps delivered and setup right before our stay. Overall we loved our stay at 7 Palms. I would like to use this forum to voice a bit of disappointment in the up-keeping of the home. For a 2 year old home there is already “wear and tear” which is sad because the house is beautiful. Scuffs on nearly every wall. Kitchen baseboards are very dirty. Fixtures like lighting, door knobs, basically anything metal/zinc is already starting to corrode. WiFi is spotty at best. The only tv worth watching is the main box in the living room. All bedroom tvs require WiFi and apps - again, spotty at best for getting through a whole show/game. I would encourage the management and/or owners to increase their maintenance efforts. It would be a shame for this house to continue to move in the wrong direction. I’ll finish by reiterating our overall stay and the home was great - just honest opinion for improvement to keep this home a vacation getaway!
