Great home away from the hustle and bustle of condos. While the house is across the street from the beach, the walk was faster than dealing with condo elevators and crowds. We were able to setup at the beach without having to worry about staying behind the condo lounges and umbrellas. The home itself was perfect for our family of 10 and our Malabo pup. We put all four kids in the loft area, which they loved. The pool was great. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfy. The only thing I could say needed updates are the towels. They are your standard white hotel towels. But that is due to me being very picky about towels. Communication with our host was a breeze. Very responsive with clear instructions on check in and out. We will definitely visit again.

This house was even more than we expected. The location to the beach was excellent. Just right across the street. Lots of seating in the living room for eveyone. Large kitchen that was fully stocked. Our grandson loved the swings under the deck. Pool was nice and clean. Loved all the pool items stocked in the storage room. Highly recommend for large family. We were a family of 8 and had plenty of room.

Super Clean and overall a wonderful stay! We have no complaints. This was our first time renting a house and we will certainly do it again. It was a great experience. One thing that isn’t mentioned that makes this place great, there are a few cut thru’s to get to the beach and this place is next to one. If you have small children you may want to keep this in mind.

Fins Up was an amazing property for our family's spring break. Our trip included a family with four kids - ages 9 to 16 - plus the grandparents. Everything about the place was perfect.The location is 2-3 miles from the main strip in Gulf Shores, which was no problem for us.It's about 100 yards from a public beach access, so very easy to go back and forth from the beach throughout the day.The layout of the place is perfect for a larger family - easily supporting our party of 8 with some extra space.Communication with the property owner was great - we had a very minor issue arise and I notified the property owner more on a basis of a heads-up and 30 minutes later someone showed up to resolve the issue.Gulf Shores itself was great - a laid back beach environment with plenty of restaurants and activities. About a 20 minute drive from Orange Beach which is more built up with large condo buildings.

Truly perfect beach rental for a family or group of friends. And we are picky. Location is just across the small street and practically on the beach, amazing views from the large porch, a private pool (we didn’t swim due to our stay being during the cold months), and X-large garage storage room for beach items which would be super convenient during summer/ warm months. Would be easy with children or elderly. There is 1 staircase for entry. The rooms are very comfortable and the loft is truly a 4th bedroom with 2 double beds and sitting area/ TV. The decor is completely updated and beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked as we were able to make breakfast and our favorite meals such as Hawaiian ribeyes. 2 blenders were perfect for peach milkshakes in 1 and adult options in the other. The living area is cozy and we enjoyed competing in the numerous board games at night. The location was quiet despite having neighbors on both sides and being a Spring Break week. Very short drive down to the HangOut and shopping or restaurants. (We always bring our own bath soap, Tp, laundry detergents, coffee, etc, There was a good starter supply for all. Bring your coffee and cooking spices. The coffee maker offers a carafe or use of K-cups. ). We had a wonderful stay and will rent again!

Very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch in morning with a cup of coffee. Location is right down from a convenience store and far enough away from the main drag that traffic was light in front of the property.

We had everything we possibly needed at the house. Easy access to the beach. Perfect little get away.

Fins Up is a true gem! We had a total of 7 in our party: 4 adults, 2 preteens, and a 6 year old. We had more than enough beds for everyone. The private in-ground pool was a huge hit. There were enough beach chairs, toys, etc in the pool house for all of us, which was phenomenal since we drove 8+ hours and had little room for all of our supplies. Toilet in the pool house was very beneficial. The walk to the beach was super easy. You can see and hear the ocean from the front porch. Just a wonderful place! Will definitely be looking at this property for future beach trips!

We have stayed in quite a few beach houses and this one was one of the cleanest. very neat and orderly. The pillows were nice and white. It was also very nice to have use of the pool house toys, beach chairs, wagon, etc. which saved us from hauling those items across 4 states to use our own.

Needs 3rd bathroom and separate ice maker. Pool access through bedrooms not ideal. Listing needs to state coffee pot also accommodates K-cups Pool was awesome and beach access very nearby
