What a beautiful home and perfect location!

We were upgraded last minute a new house and it was WONDERFUL! Our host was attentive and responsive and kind. We will def. be back! There were a ton of dishes/glasses and cookware to use which was amazing! The view was magnificent. Thank you so much!

Loved everything

The location of the home in comparison to the beach and the facility was exactly what was shown.There were plenty of plates, kitchen, utensils, pots, pans, etc. the bedrooms were as presented and well appointed. The problem was the attention to detail. The house is quite used. Blinds are broken, paint is messy. The owner or property manager was very responsive. One dishwasher didn’t work.I think for the top end price for that area it should’ve been perfect. With that being said, we would go there again. I just want to leave an honest report.I just think it’s been a VRBO for a long time because of it’s amazing location and has not had TLC in sometime

Plenty of real bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy and wonderful common areas and deck space for family fun! House is worn just enough that you won't be panicking over every grain of sand tracked in and every dropped crumb. Kids loved the private sandy backyard and walks on the beach to see sea stars and bald eagles. Parents loved the decks for sunning and the firepit for conversation.

Our large family stayed in this beautiful home. The house offers a sandy “yard” you can walk down rock steps to the beach. It’s close to proposal rock for perfect walks on the beach. Our hosts were great and working with us for scheduling dates and answering our questions. We have a few family members with mobility issues where having 3 bedrooms on the main floor and easy access to the kitchen and living room worked well for us. The upstairs offers a queen room, a bunk bed room, and primary suite that worked well for the parents and kids in our group. The house was well stocked with pans, dishes, towels, etc. we had everything we needed for our stay. The documents sent prior to our stay included recommendations on where we could get fresh seafood to bring back and cook ourselves, as well as restaurant recommendations and activities to explore. Everyone in our family was impressed with house, amenities and everything in between. We will look to book this house for future stays.

The house fit everyone and it still felt like we had more than enough room for everything we were doing.

Property is clean. Beds need memory foam but they are not terrible. Make sure you download and screen shot everything before heading out. There is a gate code and then a door code.

Beautiful location, private beach

The location of this house is what makes it amazing. The house itself is fine. I would have given it a 3.5 star rating if I could. Katie was quick to answer my calls when we hadn't received the check-in email and she sent it multiple times on different servers and via text to make sure I received it. We had four children and six adults and one room was left unused so sleeping space was more than adequate. One of the two dishwashers (left) does a subpar job while the other is functional. Two cabinets and a set of drawers that are often used are held closed by rubber bands linked from one drawer/cabinet to the other. There are some electrical safety risks noted - iHome radio had exposed wiring so we unplugged it and the far right exterior window protection cover is held up by a bungee cord that appears to be connected to an electrical conduit? Also, a large chunk of siding is missing on the oceanside exterior. The blinds in the oceanside downstairs room are broken. The downstairs TV is quite finicky and slow but if you have patience, you may get to where you want to be within the hour. Recognizing that each of these things is nit picking, the house is absolutely livable and comfortable, with an amazing view and a private access coastline. To enter this side of Neskowin, you do have to have a code for the bridge, so make sure to read the documents sent to you prior to arrival. If you're coming here for a fancy house this might not be the one, otherwise it's fine!

Absolutely gorgeous location. The house was clean and had all the amenities. It was so relaxing being in the hottub looking at the ocean and there's great views inside the house. I've never booked using VRBO, so the check-in process was a little confusing to me, but the property manager was prompt and helpful while we figured it out. I have a few minor complaints of things we noticed while staying there... the toaster works very slowly, so you must be patient for your toast. The vacuum doesnt work very well. (We just wanted to clean up before we left.) The blinds in bedroom 1 were uneven (broken) upon arrival. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 6 only had 1 remote when they're labeled 2 remotes. Lastly, the iHome speaker didnt work, but it wasn't a necessity. I just wanted to be clear about the conditions upon arrival and finding out things while we stayed. Lovely vacation home. Thank you!

This is our second year staying at the property and you just cant best the beach access! House is stocked and plenty of room for our group.

Overall it was an ok stay, the description of check in and some of the rooms did not match what was on the VRBO site compared to the contract we received so that was a bummer! The house has a little more wear and tear than it should have in our opinion for the price we paid! Location was awesome! Neighborhood was great too! We did let the host know of all things so hopefully they will take this opportunity to fix some of the issues we ran into!

Great property for us

overall good, but manager could pay some more attention to details: a broken bedroom blind; coffee filters that do not fit the coffee makers; suds in the hot tub (we didn't use it); and malfunctionig freezer drawer in main fridge.

This home is managed by high style vacations and I am unimpressed.....beds are old and uncomfortable, linens had stains, furniture was dirty, and many things not operating correctly. NO heat or AC, and mold was present. Hhome.

The house was wonderful for our family. Loved being right on the beach. The hot tub looking over the ocean was very enjoyable. Great week.

The location of the surf cottage is unbeatable. Direct access to the beach just steps from the back door. Our large family group loved this! The house all in all was just average though. There is a lot of wear and tear on the property and all throughout the house. Which was very disappointing after seeing the immaculate, but obviously outdated photos shown on the listing.
