Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our very pretty holiday home Erika and the owners were very helpfull during our stay and spoke good english. They arranged for the guest card so we could use the free bus service around town and this was very efficient and usefull. The discription of the property was correct and everything was very clean and tidy. We had our two sons with us (16 & 18) and visited Alpspix which we all thought was the highlight and the Zugspitze which was cloudy but still worth the visit especially as we were able to toboggan on the glacier on snow in July. The owners recommended the Partnach Gorge which we walked to from the house and this was very impressive even on a wet day. Partenkirchen is very pretty, relaxing and traditional with nice reataurants and shops and the train station is only a ten minute walk from the house which is in a very quiet area. Garmisch is more modern and active and the Bollywood restaurant is great. We did not need to hire a car as the buses and trains are efficient and very inexpensive (The Bayern train ticket from Munich Airport to Garmisch was 32 Euro for 4 of us). We all had a great time and would like to thank the owners for a memorable week and we shall miss the pretty house Erika. We would thoroughly recommend this preperty to anyone.
