Designer's Home in Belmont/12 South

We stayed at Alayna’s house as part of our small wedding and it could not have been more perfect! The house was even more gorgeous in person, the location is convenient to everything, and Alayna was a fantastic host. We had such an amazing stay it was hard to leave!

This house was everything that my group of 6 females were looking for in a rental. The house is even more beautiful in person, the owner definitely took a lot of time in planning out every detail in decorating the house which truly makes it stand out. The neighborhood is perfect and very safe, just a 10 minute walk to the 12 South neighborhood which had a strip of restaurants/bars with a lot of character and a handful of shops. Downtown and East Nashville were both around a 10 minute Uber ride, we didn't wait more than 5-10 minutes for an Uber at any time during our stay. The owner was very responsive prior to our stay and checked in from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and even the air mattress provided was comfortable. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay at this property again!

I loved this house. Great neighborhood, central location, lots to eat close by, etc... Clearly the owner has great style because this house is really well put together. She was really helpful and easy to deal with as well. The house had everything I needed to be comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner was friendly and responsive to all my questions prior to booking, as well as very flexible with check-in/check-out to accommodate our travel schedule. The house itself was beautiful, an electric mix of Nashville/Texas (prepare yourself for antlers and pelts!) with occasional Gothic or whimsical touches. So much fun for a long weekend getaway. The main living rooms were quite dark, which some might love, but we found ourselves spending most of our time in the seating area off the kitchen which had lots of natural light and comfy sofas. We had six people (more than the number of beds), but two of us were very comfortable sleeping on an air mattress in the open living area upstairs. Plenty of bathrooms and showers had great water pressure. The entire property is fenced in with lovely landscaping, so it's very private and secluded from the neighbors. Quiet neighborhood, very walkable to Hillsboro Village, Belmont Blvd and 12 South for coffee, shopping, dinner, drinks, etc. And just a quick drive (or $10 Uber) to pretty much everything else: downtown, east Nashville, Germantown, the Gulch, etc. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a Nashville getaway. It was perfect for our girls weekend!

My brother, sister and I traveled back to where we were born in Nashville. Little did we know this lovely home was one block from a childhood memory (our late grandmother's house) where we used to play. This home and it's charming hostess were just exceptional. The home reminded me of a Scottish castle in the lovely decor. Everything we need was present and much more. The owner left us supplied with local coffee and breakfast supplies. She also provided great recommendations for dining, which we gladly enjoyed. The beds were very comfortable, luxury in bedding and towels. Walking distance to the fun and lively 12th Street South area. Great barbecue, coffee, hamburgers and shopping. We would definitely consider this property again. Loved sitting on the front porch, watching the birds and starting the day with her great coffee.

This house is absolutely beautiful. You will be able to find everything you will need for your stay in this house. Alayna was an amazing host; making our stay even better. Her welcoming basket was greatly appreciated with a list of her favorite places in the city; which was invaluable during our stay. The property is clean and exactly as shown in pictures (except even better in person). The house is located in an amazing area that makes it easy to walk to all of 12 South's favorites including Burger Up, Frothy Monkey, and many more. It is also just a short uber (or cab) ride down into the city to go to all of the fun places on Broadway. Needless to say, we are already looking forward for our next trip to Nashville and plan on returning to this charming home.

Wow! The only drawback to this beautiful and inspired home is that it is really a challenge to force your self to get off the down sofas in the sun room and see the rest of Nashville. The kitchen, was a cooks paradise, and every room, including the front porch with it's large reclaimed wood farm table, was a delight of comfort and textures. Alayna was a very relaxed and helpful hostess. We spent way too much time, just monkeying around in the local neighborhood and park, which was such a happy hipsterville...great eats and shops.

Alayna was the perfect host who warmly welcomed us into her beautiful eclectic home. She provided us with the warmest of welcomes with a local coffee, bottle of wine, cute postcard and instructions for the house (and the tips from a local's point of view was very helpful)! The rooms were stunning, exactly as shown in the pictures and clean. The location is great, out of the tourists hoards, local shops and great restaurants. Alayna is extremely responsive and went the extra mile to ensure that our group would feel comfortable. Words can not describe how much I recommend this house. We will most definitely be back!
