After entering, guests go up one flight of stairs to reach the main living level, which includes the kitchen, living room, and half bath. One more flight up leads to both bedrooms and the two full bathrooms. From there, another flight leads to the rooftop. The vertical layout gives the home great light, separation, and openness, but guests should be comfortable with stairs.
