This is a beautiful, lived in, home with a gorgeous desert lot! Sunrise views from the back patio/fountain area and sunset views from the front patio - where we spent every evening. The interior was decorated with nice art and tasteful decorations.

We were so grateful to have a house to spend the weekend in. So nice to be able to relax and stay together in one place, watch movies, enjoy meals, have breakfast and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. The setting is gorgeous! The coi pond and feeding the fish was so fun! Four stars on cleanliness because it was pretty dusty but it is the desert. It would be nice if the owners left some shampoo and lotion but I know this is just an added benefit and shouldn’t be expected. The only hard part it is pretty far from anything, restaurants, stores, gas and activities. Would be lovely if you just wanted to get away and stay put but we were out and about quite a bit. Definitely a nice place in a lovely atmosphere.

This house and property are indeed stunning! Incredibly quiet neighborhood. Wonderful landscaping on the property. Good communication from owner. Only 10 minutes from the wonderful Sweetwater trail system where I went almost every morning. The weather didn't allow for pool use but the pool was immaculate and I wish the weather could have been warmer so we could take a dip. Would love to return in the future to this gem!

We come into town every year for the gem show and we love staying on the nature side of I-10. This place had everything we were looking for & more. Amazing views, star gazing, wildlife, and a beautifully maintained garden and property. Thanks Rose!

Stunning sunset house lived up to its name, in fact we were able to watch the most magnificent sunrise from the living room picture window, and also from the rooftop balcony, while coyotes serenaded us in the distance. There is nothing I would improve about this venue, which exceeded my expectations, from the location, to the views, to the beautifully designed and decorated house, and of course, the owners, who were readily and promptly contactable.

There several features that made this house an outstanding rental for us. We needed room for seven family members for a family gathering to soak up some warmth during the winter for several days. The house is well laid out and comfortable. There was a comfortable chair indoors and out for everyone. We especially like the location of the house high in the western hills. Except for rush hour, we seldom heard the sounds of the city. The view facing east with the fish pond near the patio and the saguaro just beyond was a favorite hangout. We would use this property again.

Or family of five adults stayed for five nights at this lovely home situated on aces of beautifully landscaped property on the western edge of Tucson. The master bedroom and a small bedroom share one wing with two more bedrooms on the opposite side. The large eat-in kitchen was well equipped. The family room had ample and comfortable seating for TV watching. The living room/DR was a great spot to read and to watch the sun rise over the mountains. The best was the second floor deck for watching the sun set to the west, the lights of Tucson twinkle while the mountains to the east shifted colors. Also- lovely for star and moon gazing. Given the reasonable rental price, I assumed something would be less than what the pictures conveyed. Nope- the pictures do not do justice to the loveliness of this home. It's a treasure with its only drawback being its best asset, it is on the outskirts of town. Anyone from a metro area will find the drive into the city a snap. Thank you to hosts Rose and Steve for sharing their slice of heaven with our family,
